I thought we were making progress; it's so disappointing when all our hard work is rejected. God doesn't want anyone to be lost but they get on this "horoscopes" stuff and "crystals" even claiming there's special magic energy flowing between the planets, whatever that means, which is supposed to heal them by also passing through lumps of amethyst and, presumably, trees.

BC there were plenty of opportunities to go yarn bombing. This appalling waste of resources that could have been used to clothe a starving baby is outright idolatry. After the celestial energy passes through stars and planets and amethysts it comes up through the trees, empowering yarn bombs to become magic shawls for witches. Such groves of wickedness were not unknown to Adaiah Boscath and she taught her daughter wisely.
Jedidah, the daughter, must have been invited. “Yo, Jeddy, coming along to this evening's debauch? They've got some new drums!” and we don't need to elaborate what happens during sunset with throbbing drumbeats, glistening bodies prancing around like demented gibbons, “Whoooops! Didn't see you there ..you weren't hiding were you?” [looks embarrassed] "Why don't you come over here into this coppice with me?” and so on. That was never what God intended when He made the sun as Jedidah well knew. She stayed home helping Adaiah Boscath, learning important lessons for bringing up her son.
II Kings 22:1; 23:5, 7, 14 Josiah was eight years old when he began to reign, and he reigned thirty and one years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Jedidah, the daughter of Adaiah of Boscath … And he put down the idolatrous priests, whom the kings of Judah had ordained to burn incense in the high places in the cities of Judah, and in the places round about Jerusalem; them also that burned incense unto Baal, to the sun, and to the moon, and to the planets, and to all the host of heaven … And he brake down the houses of the sodomites, that were by the house of the LORD, where the women wove hangings for the grove … And he brake in pieces the images, and cut down the groves, and filled their places with the bones of men.
That's what happened when people misconstrued God's purpose for the sun; what else they dreamed up is anyone's guess and it's something of a moot point considering its distance because there's enough current nonsense to keep everyone busy refuting lies.
And lies they have always been. Let's say it began when
Thales and
Pythagoras invented triangles, approximately the same time as Josiah. This would be like Queen Victoria seeing the beginning of steam
railways [1825] but not the later development [1914] of
diesel. They were still trains, obviously, and they were still triangles. In that way, adjacent pagan ideas began to challenge God – and there were plenty of cross-cultural influences if all those imported goddesses are any indication. One such affront concerns celestial distances.
Nothing contradicting God can ever be true. This seems such a simple principle, that the Creator would know all about universes He created, which secular minds are unable to grasp. They come in with so-called science that they haven't even read trying to refute God but let's face it, once He's been rejected how can understanding of what passes for knowledge ever lead to wisdom? Adaiah Boscath knew that, her daughter knew that too. I'm sure growing up that Josiah knew both of them and that they encouraged him to understand God. And when his opportunity came he showed true wisdom, the source of his humility, as his actions show.
