Well, I just asked her, and she says that teachers go to school to learn how to teach us better, and that she was not taught how to teach us. We had several friends who were homeschooled, and mum thought that I would benefit from more human communication, as some of these children were not well adapted to speaking to me, they were painfully shy.
Also, we moved around a lot, and she aslo had a job. She used to be a stay at home mom, but then she felt lonely, and uninspired, and wished to work again.
