a D list actress stumbled upon it while searching the internet in a desperate but ultimately futile attempt to get someone, anyone, to pay attention to her. And thus was the Pound Me Too movement truly born.
Other pound sign movements like #BELIEVE THE VICTIM and #BELIEVE WOMEN also began to see an increase in circulation around this time, drawing a wave of criticism on the grounds that such pound signs, whose proponents insist do not actually mean exactly what they explicitly say, might unduly influence potential jurors and cause them to disregard the necessity of preponderance of evidence.
To this argument I reply #HOGWASH! People opposed to believing the woman are experiencing what we in the Psycho-Theological profession refer to as a knee-jerk reaction to Hillary Clinton’s admonition to believe the victim. But as some spearchunker or something once said,the devil can cite Scripture for his purpose.
Consider this; perhaps Hillary made the statement in order to make you turn against your true Christian nature! Because I can tell you for certain that fine upstanding Christians have a fine history of believing the victim.

When it seemed as though the murderous savage would escape justice by claiming self defense and denying the rape, a group of Godly citizens decided the Christian thing to do was BELIEVE THE VICTIM, and delivered SOCIAL JUSTICE upon him.

Thank God then that such vile rumors did not stay the hand of those good men who chose to BELIEVE THE WOMEN!

one of the most atrocious rapes ever committed” the upstanding SOCIAL JUSTICE AWARE crowd decided to look past the lack of injury (by all reports she was uninjured) and despite the fact that no evidence of the defensive scrapes she made on her assailant were recorded as being found on the perpetrator. Just like now, these Godly souls had no need of evidence. They had the word of the victim. And as it is now so it was then imperative to BELIEVE THE VICTIM!
I could go on like this for days. Hundreds, perhaps thousands of examples of when men good and true decided, often without evidence, at times in the face of exonerating evidence, to BELIEVE THE VICTIM.,JUST LIKE THE ME TOO MOVEMENT OF TODAY!
So when the regressive right tries to take credit for our accomplishments in the arena of social justice by destroying someones life, career, and family without being hampered by pesky things like evidence and trials, just remind them that Christians have a long, glorious history of bypassing the need for evidence, indeed even ignoring the evidence, and believing the victim. What the Left is doing now is finally catching up to the standards set by the Right over 100 years ago.
