There are many reasons why people decide to be poor. Some of them are too lazy to get an honest living. Many of them are not actually poor and only pretend to be poor to get food stamps and other government scams. They then sell products purchased with food stamps on the black market

In 35 states (and rising) people on welfare actually get paid more than people who have jobs. Obama hasn't been able to fully corrupt some of the few of the states that still have some moral compass such as Texas and Iowa. Thank Obama's incredible impenitence and the Republicans for that.

You would be amazed at the lengths people go to in order to pretend to be poor. Getting ragged clothing, getting wheelchairs and crutches, acting retarded, hiding their car/house. The more retarded they act, the more money Obama steals from hard working Americans in order to finance their corrupt lifestyle. If these so called poor people invested half the effort into getting and keeping a job that they already invest in pretending to be poor, then that unemployment rate would drop down immediately.
