These mistakes do happen Sister Talitha. The post flood period must have been a very confusing time and with everyone wearing long tunics these mistakes happen. Though they are not excusable.
There is a theory that Ham came upon Noah drunk and unconscious in his tent. Ham wasn't sure whether it was Noah or Ham's mother. Done some uncovering to make sure and that was when Satan entered Ham and told them "just by looking at your Dad's bear butt you've effectively rump rangered him so you mind as well go all the way" and Ham listened.
That Ham really meant to rape his own mother doesn’t let Ham off the hook.
