Democrats are following the five stages of grief here. Allowing democrats to join the Trump administration would mean they are at the "Bargaining" stage, which comes after the "Anger" stage.

Judging by their current rate of progress, I predict they will hit the bargaining stage around the late 2030's to early 2040's.
