That's a very curious story, Brother Mr. Mayor, Sir. I think the typography alone bears mentioning. Here is a small selection of quotes:

So, how come the word
black is capitalized throughout whereas the word
white is not? I cannot be alone in finding this sort of self-aggrandizement deeply offensive.
Romans 12:3 seems appropriate here:
For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.
