That involves adultery, yes, but not divorce, which is the subject at hand.

You safely could in this case because it's not relevant. Divorce is deciding whether she's part of the household you're responsible for.

Paul summarizes himself more clearly in one sentence in 1 Corinthians 7:15, but that's still not relevant.
Why were you considering divorce? Was she unfaithful, to you or God? The Bible says you're
allowed to divorce in those cases, and re-marry (if you're male).
