I have heard that Monsanto is working on a genetically engineered peanut that doesn't contain the allergens. Once they get FDA approval, then we can expect the food manufacturers to start using the new peanuts instead. Monsanto will have a monopoly, so peanuts will be profitable again. People who claim to be "working for peanuts" will have to come up with a new cliche.
