Of course, dear. The Bible tells us all about the dangers of science:
1 Timothy 6:20 O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called:
Knowledge of this world (a.k.a. empirical science) is a shortcut to Hell:
1 Corinthians 3:18-20
18 Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise.
19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness.
20 And again, The Lord knoweth the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain.
So no, you don't have to tell
me to stay away from science. However, occasionally, we get here posters who try to argue with us using science as evidence. In my post, I was merely pointing out some holes in the poster's argumentation, showing him that he was rather inept in his attempts.
I hope this was helpful.
