Of course not! As the original OS, JesOS can have no predecessors. All other Operating Systems are false operating systems.
JesOS, in any of its versions, cannot be used as dual-booted. You shall have no opertaing System before JesOS.
If you are interested, I'm sure by now someone will have put the instructions on the internet as a pdf file (a format designed by

Fred). They are lengthy and it's a steep learning curve. They start with the first 4 books of Development, explaining the philosophy behind JesOS and its capabilities. (There are many worked examples.)
They move into the first great upgrade, known as Corinth, which was almost a new system. They continue into Rock, which was very well regarded in its day, and end with Landover's view of the future of JesOS and its Mission Statement.
