Hi
.. Are you a freemason?
Without a little more context it's difficult to assess, such as whether you attend Church. Is there a Bible verse that encourages you? Psalms are always a blessing, reminding us how little we really know of Creation.
PSALM 104
13-14 He [God] watereth the hills from his chambers: the earth is satisfied with the fruit of thy works. He causeth the grass to grow for the cattle, and herb for the service of man: that he may bring forth food out of the earth.
God knows that we need water and how important it is that the waters He provides for us do not run up onto the land, destroying our crops. He even provided the rainbow to remind Himself of the covenant He made not to send so much that it floods everything, destroying all flesh.
9 Thou hast set a bound that they may not pass over; that they turn not again to cover the earth.
When God says He has "bound" the waters, that does not mean bound to the land like a stone mallet is bound to its handle. Sometimes people suggest mallet handles as a type of pillar or that the oceans need pillars to hold them up; then there are other pillars which no longer exist because God has destroyed them. He is telling us that there is a boundary beyond which the waters of the ocean are unable to pass.
There are other ideas represented by pillars. A little more context would therefore be helpful.
