What a wonderful idea, Brother Elmer! I love art myself, and speaking of strong abdominal musculature, here's a lovely picture from Georgia (the country, not the state), from many centuries ago:
Note that His kneecaps are very muscular, as well. I think it's because of all the time He spent on His knees in prayer. My knees don't look like that, but I still spend as many hours on my knees as I can. Anyway, I like the symbolism of our LORD being hung no more than about eighteen inches from the ground. To me, this speaks of His abilities to jump right off that Crucifix if He had wanted to, but He didn't. Similarly, He could have created a state of reality in which mankind could have been spared the consequence of Adam's sin, but He didn't. He could have created a state of reality that didn't include eternal suffering, or the need to believe an inherently unbelievable biography in order to avoid eternal suffering, but He didn't. He could have created a world without sin, just like He has planned for after Jesus' Triumphant Second Coming, but He didn't. So many things Jesus could have done rather than suffer a few hours on a cross in the hot sun, rather than sacrifice His immortal life for a few days, but He didn't. Because He wanted to show us His Love for us.
But more interesting is the unidentified flying objects in the corner. I don't know why more artists don't include them. I think there's something the government is trying to hide from us. Personally, I think the pharmaceutical companies are behind the artistic censorship. I haven't figured out what their angle is, but I know they can't be trusted, they exist to dumb down the nation, and make us pay for it. I for one will not be a willing dupe for Big Pharma.
