Are you talking about dredging, broadening, extending and salinating the Rio Grande, perhaps with beach resorts on the US side, Sister? I don't know how that would compare cost-wise with the wall, or how Brother Gonzalez's Mexican labor force would cope with the water. If I've been correctly informed, they don't much care for getting themselves wet. But it's certainly a possibility worth suggesting to the President. Jolly well done, Sister!
