Thank you for that straw man. The point we've been trying to make, and the one that Scripture backs, is that we do not sin
precisely because of God's saving power.

Where did you get that from? According to
Black's Law Dictionary, murder is the "unlawful killing of a human being by another with malice aforethought, either express or implied." The word "unlawful" is rather important in discussing whether it's murder to obey God's command.
