Brother Billy Bob will confirm that "you hurt my feelings" is not actionable under common law theories of tort liability. And yes, I know that these common law theories have been twisted through the liberal Supreme Court in the last 100 years and are nothing like they used to be. Compare the stretched reasoning of Palsgraf v. Long Island Railroad (Yes, I know that Justice Cardozo wasn't on the Supreme Court yet, but still) with some of the solid reasoning of Weaver v Ward (80 Eng. Rep. 284 (K.B. 1616)).
But I digress. Why do I care that the dispositive protective interplay between 47 U.S.C. § 230[c][1] and Calder v. Jones (465 U.S. 783 (1984)) and International Shoe v. Washington (326 U.S. 310 (1945)) on this issue? Especially in light of Dimeo v. Max, 433 F.Supp.2d 523? No, I don’t really care about that much at all about these things.
I yield to a higher power. I don’t wish to cite precedent in modern theories of defamation in US jurisprudence. Instead, I cite the verses of the Blessed Holy Bible. For example, Psalm 10:7-18 gives me comfort:
Quote:
(7) His mouth is full of cursing and deceit and fraud: under his tongue is mischief and vanity. […] (12) Arise, O LORD; O God, lift up thine hand: (14) Thou hast seen it; for thou beholdest mischief and spite, to requite it with thy hand (15) Break thou the arm of the wicked and the evil man: seek out his wickedness till thou find none. (16) The LORD is King for ever and ever: the heathen are perished out of his land. (17) LORD, thou hast heard the desire of the humble: thou wilt prepare their heart, thou wilt cause thine ear to hear: (18) To judge the fatherless and the oppressed, that the man of the earth may no more oppress.
|
Or this:
Quote:
[E]vil words come from an evil heart and defile the person who says them. For from the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, all other sexual immorality, theft, lying, and slander. These are what defile you.
|
That's Matthew 15:18-20. See also Matthew 12:33-37 and James 3:2-10.
But I do have one last "legal" citation. It's the 1927 Supreme Court case of Buck v. Bell. Read the last sentence of the ruling by Justice Holmes. I’ll think you find it applies to you.
"Come Unto Me. Put forth thine hand now, and touch all that he hath." (Matthew 19:14, Job 1:11).

Pastor Zeke didn't you a queer. Jesus called you a queer while speaking threw Pastor Zeke.
Now are you calling Jesus a liar?

It's not quite that easy. It's not "you hurt my feelings". Its that you spread rumors about people and hate them bacause of their race. Now this breaks both mans and God's law.

You're weird; you are making it up as you go along, let's have some proof that we (as opposed to God) hate people because of their race or that we have spread any rumors at all...
We are God's messengers, we bring the Good News of His Infinite Love and Compassion.
Now look at my signature and tell me that you are wrong and would like to apologize.

You're not a Christian, so how could you have "genuine, compassionate concern" for anyone or anything?

I'd say that, compared to people who don't run the economy, fill the media with liberal propaganda or bear direct responsibility for the death of Christ, Jews are really quite a lot worse.
O Lord our God, help us to tear their soldiers to bloody shreds with our shells; help us to cover their smiling fields with the pale forms of their patriot dead; help us to drown the thunder of the guns with the shrieks of their wounded, writhing in pain; help us to lay waste their humble homes with a hurricane of fire; help us to wring the hearts of their unoffending widows with unavailing grief; help us to turn them out roofless with little children to wander unfriended the wastes of their desolated land in rags and hunger and thirst, sports of the sun flames of summer and the icy winds of winter, broken in spirit, worn with travail, imploring Thee for the refuge of the grave and denied it--for our sakes who adore Thee, Lord, blast their hopes, blight their lives, protract their bitter pilgrimage, make heavy their steps, water their way with their tears, stain the white snow with the blood of their wounded feet! We ask it, in the spirit of love, of Him Who is the Source of Love, and Who is the ever-faithful refuge and friend of all that are sore beset and seek His aid with humble and contrite hearts. Amen.
God being truth, justice, goodness, beauty, power, and life, man is falsehood, iniquity, evil, ugliness, impotence, and death. God being master, man is the slave. Incapable of finding justice, truth, and eternal life by his own effort, he can attain them only through a divine revelation... he who desires to worship God must harbor no childish illusions about the matter, but bravely renounce his liberty and humanity.

The only lie on this thread is the one in your first post where you state that "you know the legal system quite well" in the same line where you cannot spell the word "defamation."
As for man's law, statutes and court cases I cited above are real cases and Federal statutes that, together, provide black letter law on the exemptions available for free speech on bulletin board-type internet sites.
As for God's law, I can assure you as well that there is Holy Scription for each and every posting that addresses the behavior of sexual deviants (i.e. Bill Clinton), bossy short-haired women (i.e. Hillary Clinton), uppity negriods (I think you know who), worshippers of false religions, including, without limitation, joos, wiccans, vegetarians and jigaboos (or whatever they're called on that Posse thread) (i.e. Pope Been-a-Dick XVI, you-know-who again, and members of the Hebrew race, among others).
Enough lecturing. Turn to Christ with us, won't you friend? I'm sure you'll find the peace you seem to need so badly. “Come unto Me, all who are weary and heavy laden, and I will give you rest." Matthew 11:28.
"Come Unto Me. Put forth thine hand now, and touch all that he hath." (Matthew 19:14, Job 1:11).

There is no way to talk civilized with you people. you make jokes and throw insults and are very immature.
You should all go back to kindergarten, where using babyish insults are common. sissy, asshat, demoncrat. I mean, seriously, you guys have PROBLEMS. You are some MESSED UP, EFFED UP people.
I feel bad for all of you. the only confidence you have is a god who may or may not be real. You put all your faith into a book that may or may not be real. I'm sorry you have nothing better to do with your lives.
Lets all smoke weed together cuz all of you should mellow out.
