Pepsi or wine? -
06-25-2010, 02:08 PM
I find so many verses in God's Holy Word (KJV1611) tell us the benefits of drinking wine .....
Leviticus 23:13 (King James Version)
13And the meat offering thereof shall be two tenth deals of fine flour mingled with oil, an offering made by fire unto the LORD for a sweet savour: and the drink offering thereof shall be of wine, the fourth part of an hin.
Deuteronomy 7:13 (King James Version)
13And he will love thee, and bless thee, and multiply thee: he will also bless the fruit of thy womb, and the fruit of thy land, thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep, in the land which he sware unto thy fathers to give thee.
But I find none to promote the virtues of pepsi or coca cola. Is God anti caffeinated and carbonated beverages?
2 Chronicles 7:14
14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land Australia.

Cola is American so I am sure Jesus approves! Wine is ok also, just as long as it is American wine and you don't drink too much of it.
Habakkuk 2:15 "Woe unto him that giveth his neighbour drink, that puttest thy bottle to him, and makest him drunken also, that thou mayest look on their nakedness!"

Both Coca-Cola and Pepsi support the sodomite agenda. I second Brother Cranky's recommendation that you drink American wine (as long as it isn't from Commiefornicatia or another blue state).
This church is dedicated to preaching True Christianity™ and the King James Bible exactly as they are, with no alterations to make them more politically correct for modern liberals. If you think that we've misquoted or twisted Scripture or quoted any verse out of context, please explain in detail how we've done so. Otherwise, if what you read on this site offends you, then you're offended by Almighty God and His Word, not by us.

Brother it seems that the pastor is right.

Now I'm confused. Do I pour the coke I have down the drain? Or do I drink what I have and then not buy anymore?
I guess it's back to tea for me

Just a reminder - Pepsi was the drink of choice for one Michael Jackson
Surely there has to be a link with his Homerism and this un Godly elixir of Satan
2 Samuel 22:31

Interesting comment there Brother Swish.
Did not God set fire to MJ's hair while he was performing a pepsi commercial?
Maybe that was the wrath of God for MJ's homer and paedophilic lifestyle.
Romans 12:19 (King James Version)
19 Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.
Would this then make pepsi the beverage of choice for our Lord God Almighty?

Personally I believe this goes into the same category as ''I don't hate you,God does though'' that we often have to remind our visitors here.

We need look no further than Isaiah for advice on what to drink. I think it's pretty clear that God wants us to drink wine sometimes, but not all the time. And if you MUST drink cola, Jesus wants us to drink Royal Crown!
In that day shall the LORD of hosts be for a crown of glory, and for a diadem of beauty, unto the residue of his people,
And for a spirit of judgment to him that sitteth in judgment, and for strength to them that turn the battle to the gate.
But they also have erred through wine, and through strong drink are out of the way; the priest and the prophet have erred through strong drink, they are swallowed up of wine, they are out of the way through strong drink; they err in vision, they stumble in judgment.
Isaiah 28:5-7
Thou shalt also be a crown of glory in the hand of the LORD, and a royal diadem in the hand of thy God.
Thou shalt no more be termed Forsaken; neither shall thy land any more be termed Desolate: but thou shalt be called Hephzibah, and thy land Beulah: for the LORD delighteth in thee, and thy land shall be married.
Isaiah 62:3-4

Never forget that Pepsi Cola is an anagram of EPISCOPAL.
I am not sure at the moment what this means and I await inspiration from Jesus after I go to bed tonight.

It is blood of Lucifer.

Go ahead with Dr Pepper by all means. The Lord loves spices:
Ex:30:34a: And the LORD said unto Moses, Take unto thee sweet spices, stacte, and onycha, and galbanum;
Thus if you find any drink called Dr Stacte, Dr Onycha or Dr Galbanum, you'll be OK with that too.
HOWEVER, there is a drink called VIMTO! This is produced by godless Brits and probably smuggled in from Canukistan - don't touch it. It's name is an anagram of VOMIT!

Thank you so much for your prompt reply I have topped off with copious amounts Dr Pepper. As for the Vomit Vitmo IT WILL NEVER PASS MY TONSILS (unless as a mixer with dark rum).
