Witchcraft murder: Couple guilty of Kristy Bamu killing scream the headlines.

Communist infiltrated BBC is over the moon at the opportunity to persecute devout Christians putting God's law first. While it is, of course, deplorable that they ignored secular law and killed the lad, their very belief that he was a witch and needed exorcising is under attack.

During the trial, jurors heard Kristy was in such pain after three days of attacks by Bikubi and Bamu, who used knives, sticks, metal bars and a hammer and chisel, that he "begged to die", before slipping under the water.

Kristy had been killed while he and his siblings were visiting Bikubi and Bamu for Christmas, the court was told.

During the stay, Bikubi turned on them, accusing them of bringing "kindoki" - or witchcraft - into his home.

He then beat all three of them and forced other children to join in with the attacks, the jury heard.

Bamu and football coach Bikubi believed he had cast spells on another child in the family, the Old Bailey heard.

Kristy had refused to admit to sorcery and witchcraft and his punishments, in a "deliverance" ceremony, became more horrendous until he admitted to being a sorcerer.

It's just like those in league with Satan to deny their guilt unto the death. The TV reports show a deep seated prejudice against devout Christians in Africa for staging public exorcisms of children, righteously beating teenaged witches in front of cheering crowds all praising Jesus and coming together to help the afflicted in admitting their guilt and having the sorcery beaten from them.

The father and step-mother of a 14-year-old girl from western Sweden were charged on Friday with repeatedly beating and burning the girl because they “thought she was a witch”, according to the prosecutor.

“According to the girl’s version of events she has been subjected to being locked up, has had her feet tied together, assault through being burned with a red-hot knife in a torture-like manner and other violent rites and exorcisms,” prosecutor Daniel Larsson wrote in a statement.

Along with the parents, a pastor from a small religious community in Malmö has been charged.

“There is a pastor in Malmö who is under suspicion but is currently abroad,” Larson wrote.

According to local paper Borås Tidning (BT), suspicions first surfaced in 2004 when an anonymous report to the National Board of Health and Welfare (Socialstyrelsen) claimed all was not right, but the agency opted not to pursue the matter at the time.

Six years later, in 2010, the agency received new reports that the child was being abused, as well as information indicating that her father had taken her to Skåne to force the evil demons out of her.

The 37-year-old father denies all allegations saying he has done everything in his power to help his daughter who has been feeling “mentally unsettled”.

“He says he knows of no violence against her at all,” said defence lawyer Jan Elgmark to news agency TT.

Instead, the man claims to have sought medical advice, and help from his church, in dealing with the girl's problems.

The 33-year-old step-mum is under suspicion for systematically abusing the girl over a long period of time.

“She denies these allegations,” her defence lawyer Torkel Stenbäcken told TT.

The prosecutor claims that the parents have shaved off the girl's hair and locked her up so that she couldn't infect her younger siblings with her “inherent evil”.

“My client hasn't been privy to anything like that. But there are others who are under suspicion and it is possible that they have. However, it isn't a criminal act to give someone a haircut,” Stenbäcken told TT.

He also denied that the step-mother had burned the girl with a red hot knife.

“There is no substance to those claims,” her lawyer said.

The woman has, however, admitted to some form of exorcism being performed.

“Yes, you could say that but that isn't a crime. That's religion and you're allowed to practice that,” said Stenbäcken.

He added that it wasn't the step-mother who had performed the rites, but other people. Prayers had been said in order to exorcize the demons from the girl or make her feel better.

“This is done in a religious context and I guess they thought it might help,” Stenbäcken told TT.

While it is mostly definitely correct that they are being prosecuted, said prosecution is a result of the underlying persecution they are facing from the Swedish government. They are good God fearing Christians, and in the eyes of our Lord are not guilty of the crimes they are being prosecuted for. For my part, I must come down against them. I realise this may be controversial but the core point is we know nothing of their church. Now, please correct me if I'm wrong pastors but they have not been in touch with Landover Baptist to seek advice, relying on the word of their own church leaders. It may be that their church is as godly as Landover - it can happen, I know the Reverend Rodimer oversees a church that is equally high in the Lord's eyes - but surely most are not.

Any of these godly churches would know the signs of demonic possession, things like cutting oneself (Mark 5:5), being ill (Mark 9:32-33) or superhuman strength (Matthew 5:4) or being naked (Luke 8:27). Did they even test if the spirit was of God? 1 John 4:1. But a false church may well have been slipshod with these tests or even perverted God's word to such an extent that they were ignored.

My point was that they were not being prosecuted for their true crime, which was disobeying 1 Peter 2:13. However, I understand your concern regarding which church belong to. Strictly from what we know of them, I have to assume they are God fearing Christians. What Christian would torture a child if they weren't in fact a witch?

Sweden of course does not follow Biblical Law so the prosecutors would not be interested in I Peter.

Aren't we losing sight of the issue in this semantics battle? Won't someone think of the victims in all this! A family ripped apart and the responsible adults thrown in jail.

With the lack of support society offers families when dealing with issues of child rearing it's small wonder that these sorts of mistakes will happen. Why back in their home nation of Africa whole congregations come together to beat children accused of witchcraft in ways that are more measured. With the right counselling from experienced elders the boy could have lived for at least a couple more weeks. This sort of ham fisted DIY work is only to be expected if a family is isolated and fearful in a society of secular God-haters. With another week or two of more measured discipline the boy might have been definitively saved. Instead, he is now dead and the blame lies well and truly with secular do-gooders. They are driving righteous witch hunts underground - as we have seen with cock fighting, disasters happen because of furtive rushed botched jobs.

It pains me to say that in our move to greater levels of civilisation from the jigs we have lost something precious. A more literal appreciation of God's word!

That is an excellent point. Why, in my home town alone there are two seperate places where prostitutes can get abortions but I don't think there's a single place where suspected witch children can be dropped off in the entire country.

A national chain of drop in advice centres where learned True Christians can clearly identify whether the child is possessed or not and then take appropriate steps would resolve all of these problems. Because, despite my fears about their church, it seems clear they wanted to do the right thing.

I think my influence in setting up these centres is going to be limited. My own MP is a known adulterer and was, as a child, blinded for some sin I'm not sure of (Isaiah 44:18) so I don't he think will be sympathetic if I write to him.
