George W Bush, as judged by history -
01-18-2009, 11:19 PM
Some of George W Bush's achievements are not so much about what happened, but about what didn't happen: - We haven't had a terrorist attack on American soil since 9/11*
- We haven't had someone in the White House committing treason since the Plame affair
- We haven't had a city destroyed by incompetence since Hurricane Katrina
- We haven't started an unwinnable foreign quagmire since March 2003
- We haven't had an economic collapse since August
- We haven't spent a trillion dollars of taxpayer money on a blank check to our campaign contributors on Wall Street since October or so
*(other than the Anthrax and DC sniper and all the increase in attacks on Americans overseas)
Work in progress...

In spite of popular "thinking" by the liberal media, godly Louisianans and Mississipians know that Democrats were at fault for incompetence during Hurricane Katrina. This is why godly Republicans Haley Barbour and Bobby Jindal (even if Jindal is a Cathylick) were elected in resounding fashion in 2007. Nobody committed treason during the "Plame affair", aside from perhaps Ms. Plame herself, (what is a woman doing in the Central INTELLIGENCE Agency anyways). And we did win the war in Iraq, contrary to liberal "thinking" again (remember Saddam Hussein, he's burning in HELL now ... of course since Mr. Hussein was not hung from a tree, he could have still been saved by having had accepted Jesus Christ and repenting).

Haha makes me laugh that all you can think of is what didn't happen compared to what did happen.
Pretty small list compared to the "What did happen" list

You're right. President Bush's list of achievements is long and illustrious. With Christ's help He did his level best to restore America to it's former glory.
Please feel free to add to this list, friend. We can all rally around the greatest president ever.
Here is a partial list from just a few scripture verses:
Hypocrites (Matthew 24:51), The Unforgiving (Mark 11:26), Homosexuals (Romans 1:26, 27), Fornicators (Romans 1:29), The Wicked (Romans 1:29), The Covetous (Romans 1:29), The Malicious (Romans 1:29), The Envious (Romans 1:29), Murderers (Romans 1:29), The Deceitful (Romans 1:29), Backbiters (Romans 1:30), Haters of God (Romans 1:30), The Despiteful (Romans 1:30), The Proud (Romans 1:30), Boasters (Romans 1:30), Inventors of evil (Romans 1:30), Disobedient to parents (Romans 1:30), Covenant breakers (Romans 1:31), The Unmerciful (Romans 1:31), The Implacable (Romans 1:31), The Unrighteous (1Corinthians 6:9), Idolaters (1Corinthians 6:9), Adulterers (1Corinthians 6:9), The Effeminate (1Corinthians 6:9), Thieves (1Corinthians 6:10), Drunkards (1Corinthians 6:10), Reviler (1Corinthians 6:10), Extortioners (1Corinthians 6:10), The Fearful (Revelation 21:8), The Unbelieving (Revelation 21:8), The Abominable (Revelation 21:8), Whoremongers (Revelation 21:8), Sorcerers (Revelation 21:8), All Liars (Revelation 21:8)

Yes, please go on to hell where your master awaits. You'll be his favorite party ewe.

As for Hurricane Katrina, why should George W Bush have even responded to the disaster at all? Natural disasters are products of God's will, and there is no stopping them. It was obviously God's plan to kill off the less intelligent residents who weren't smart enough to get to higher ground.
A baby is a human being, not a stem cell!
Psalm 139:19-20
Surely thou wilt slay the wicked, O God: depart from me therefore, ye bloody men.
For they speak against thee wickedly, and thine enemies take thy name in vain.

Brother Hackwith, I suspect God also wanted to punish the rampant sin in New Orleans. From what I read, homers were assembling in New Orleans for a parade, and God made a pre-emptive strike.

Well put; those New Orleans folk probably didn't vote for Bush or contribute money to his campaign. That hurricane sure taught them a thing or two.

Darn right, Jeb!! Too bad the drive-by mainstream media refuses to recognize these tremendous accomplishments by George W. Bush and his brilliant and competent staff of heroic geniuses!! In addition to the above, I'd add a few more notable accomplishments...
George W. Bush didn't allow another rogue communist nation to test their newly-acquired nuclear weapons since October 2006.
America hasn't been bound up by pesky regulations in an international treaty for quite some time.

Well, the " future historians" are now just present historians, and they are changing their minds. They used to consider George W Bush the worst president ever. As of 2016 he's risen rapidly to second worst.

Still haven't, and as for domestic right-wing terrorist incidents, there's a mere 300 per year.

Still true, assuming the president can pardon himself.

Puerto Rico isn't a city, so still true.
