Worrying about trivial matters, such as whether or not to serve green bean casserole, should be the least of your concerns. Why not make this mas a time that is truly special for you? I'll bite first; me I can't choose between bacon-wrapped Turtle chocolates, plum pudding, roasted chestnuts with goat cheese, eggnog-creme filled canapes, gorgonzola stuffed turkey tasters (I'm big on elaborate appetizers) and tater tots, garlic soup with a bit of cheddar (goes really well with Wassail) and that's just the starters alone.
Then there's boar slices with mustard and roasted beets, fresh market pheasant, cranberry sauce to top it all, granola stuffing with dates (stuffed with more cheese, you can tell I'm a cheese gal)... oh!
Let's not forget the helpings of pumpkin pie (and/or apple pie) at the end with rum raisin vanilla ice creme.

Oh, dear God above! Chocolates and plum pudding are appetizers to you?! You will never entice dear Brother Darrow with that gluttonous behavior!

If he likes a healthy appetite, who knows!? I'll ask my family to serve green bean casserole this year, that sounds tasty. So many good ideas, we could start a list!

Dearest Sister Mrs. White--why you are like a sanctified Energizer Bunny! Such patience, committment and faith that you have shown.
This is for you:
1 Corinthians 3:13-15
Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.
If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.
If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.
His left hand should be under my head, and his right hand should embrace me.

I'm a bit of an eccentric and some people find that off putting. Being a hypochondriac, I don't experience sensory the same way and makes it difficult for others to relate. Plus I tend to fart a lot, which is unfortunate and made life hell for me in school growing up.

By the way -- I couldn't help but notice, my silly username that I didn't create myself has gained an attractive pink, and lost the very offensive sub-heading (now to take care of those badges too would be best ). That's a slight improvement in the right direction I guess to meeting half-way on good terms. I'm glad to see even someone here agrees that so-called "sinners" deserve to be treated like actual human beings, so... Um, thank you?

I'd like to apologize to all the True Christians™ for being so stupid as to think Jen was worth talking to.

We all make our choices. Obviously I was a challenge to be reckoned with for them? Nothing wrong with that.
Just as well, while I do love the pink; if I'm perceived as attention-grabby, does it not seem ironic to give my name a hot pink? Won't that just draw the attention deeper and deeper unintentionally?
Anyway, yes, I could read the KJV Bible, I could memorize it, heck, even if I did, I don't think I will get much love here. I think the opinion is very set against me, even if I tried at this point.
