You find the happiest rays of hope in the most unexpected places. In the aftermath of Manny Pacquiao's recent loss in the ring, Justin Bieber "dissed" him on Twitter, outraging all the little brown people in the boxer's home state.
As you can see, the Flippipinos (or Philipeenos or whatever, I can never figure out how to spell their name) are very vocal about their disdain for Bieber, and when asked why they don't like him, they say, again and again, "Because he's gay!"
I must say it's refreshing to see that so many people in the Philippines feel so comfortable using the word "gay" as a pejorative! If you were to talk like that around here, the Sodomy Mafia would be all over you!
I don't know if you've ever flown to the Philippines, but it's mostly Catholics and prostitutes who have sex with about twenty or thirty US servicemen per day at two dollars a pop, but I've really got to hand it to those folks, they've at least got their heads screwed on straight when it comes to the topic of homosexuality.
Do you remember the good old days when it was proper and acceptable to just say, "I don't like that guy because he's gay"? Things were simpler back then, because people still remembered what the Bible had to say on the matter:
Quote:
Leviticus 18:22
Thou shalt not lie with mankinde, as with womankinde: it is abomination.
