I admit I felt bad for the Virginia governor yesterday (despite the fact he's a Democrat and for that alone he deserves to suffer miserably for eternity). After all, when are you supposed to behave like an idiot, if not in your youth? What's the other option, to behave like an idiot when you're elected the president of the USA? Yeah right.

Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam's medical school yearbook page surfaced Friday, containing a photograph of two unidentified men — one appears to be wearing blackface standing next to another in a Ku Klux Klan costume....
Northam released a statement earlier Friday afternoon apologizing for the photo, saying, "I am deeply sorry for the decision I made to appear as I did in this photo and for the hurt that decision caused then and now."

Of course wearing blackface or KKK costume can be offensive only from the Democrat point of view, but from the photo above you can see why all Democrats started pissing their pants and demanded that Northam resigned (if he does, he'd be replaced by a black dude - now, that'd be an ironic twist). Anyway, today I got a migraine headache from facepalming too hard:

Srsly? Doesn't he know that first you are supposed to say you don't remember, and then miraculously remember it and feel bad, not the other way around?

Also, an additional argument in his defense was worthy as well:

Northam admitted that he darkened his skin using shoe polish to perform as Michael Jackson in a dance conference in San Antonio that same year. He said he did not find it "unacceptable" at the time, but he now does. He said that he believed the yearbook photo was more offensive and "horrific."

So basically, his defense was: "Your Honor, I did not rob that gas station, because the same year I robbed a bank."

And yes - I know all Democrats are idiots (otherwise, they would be Republicans), but this one, oh boy, he takes the crown!

I'm trying to recall Michael Jackson performing "Bo Diddley & The Klansman" perhaps Gov. Northam is getting confused with "Standard Oil: The Paul Robeson Years" which I don't remember either? He's probably on. something.

I saw just the headline for this on some clickbait site like BBC or New York Times or something and said: decades ago a teenager dressed in a Halloween costume, and now he's a democrat and another democrat wants his job. And of course, when a democrat wants something, instead of competing, they whip up a mob and call for a purge.

How appropriate that he's standing next to a klansman: a bunch of democrats who silence their political rivals through the fear that a mob will be sent to destroy them, on the accusation that they have violated race-specific rules.

And why exactly does it cause "hurt" when a person with the wrong skin color wears shoe polish? See, it brings back nonexistent "memories" of minstrel shows, a form of stand-up comedy which involved joking about racial stereotypes.

It's like saying that Jews are racist if they wear old clothing because it "hurts" us by reminding us of when they killed Jesus. Or Jews are racists if they wear tuxedos because a Jew in a tuxedo once told a mean joke about goym. If that sounds silly, imaging if everyone had to take "Goym Studies" in order to get a job, and to pass you have to write a thesis on how the Jews are keeping you down.

You know, if minstrel shows were as evil as folk history/conventional wisdom says they are, why has nobody ever filmed a re-enactment? I'll tell you why: if they did, it would just look like an ordinary comedy show.

Replace the shoe polish with spraytan and this is a Donald Trump impersonation.

The liberal media believes that blacks are so naturally superstitious that they'll act like shoe polish on a white face is part of a voodoo spellcasting ritual or something. Certain "hocus-pokus" words are like "voldemort": you can't even say them to tell people what not to say. "Don't say the V-word". "What's the V-word"? "I can't say it". "Then how am I supposed to know what not to say?"

Next time someone calls me racist, I will say "thank you, I agree that I have a sense of humor".

I thought to myself “this is worse than the Oscars!” Talk about fake news, this isn't even news at all. Why would anyone read it at all, when there's so much reportage and analysis available without reading at all? Take the article in OP. All they want you to do is look at the picture. It very well COULD have been the governor in the picture. If it was, WHO CARES? It’s just an excuse for darkies to get all upset that a white man wanted to try to look like them (as if that’d really happen). On an unrelated note, I can proudly recall a story where me and some friends re-enacted the arrest of Malcom X. I played a female bystander and can attest that getting shoe polish off your face afterwards is hard to do. If this governor really did try to blackface, I am sure it can only help him as it did for Paula Deen and ONE of her sons.
