Is it OK to be Suspicious of Islam Converts -
09-19-2022, 03:45 PM
Even though the Christian press constantly lauds Preacher Michael Youssef, I cannot get enthused. It is said religious training in one's childhood is what dominated later in life. Youssef was a Muslim until he was a teenager. Can we be certain he is now a genuine Christian?
I also read he is now worth $5 million. Now $5 million is not that unusual for very successful evangelists (Parstor Zeke's net worth will remain a secret), it is unusual for someone who came from the dirt-poor Arab tribes.
My advice is if you want to be a good Christian, choose as your leader a Christian born white preacher.
Leading The Way with Dr. Michael Youssef (ltw.org)
Isaiah 24:1-3 Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty (2)...as the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him. (3) The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken his word.

It's not all about the money but Aga Khan the 4th, 49th Imam of Nizari Ismaili Shia Islam, has a net worth of $13.3b. With a paltry $5m, I don't think they're sending their best with Mr. Youssef.
If I have seen further, it is by standing on the heads of others.

You'd need to eliminate Muda'rat to be sure. Egypt has only been Islamic for a few decades, officially, having been a Coptic stronghold for centuries before if not millennia. Once the inflowing population increased sufficiently, the usual process could gather momentum – as in every other place this cult has spread. Muda'rat is the same as al-Taqiyya.
Tawriya and Muruna are additional considerations. For example by telling me that Muslims are not allowed to lie, which is true, it could seem to me as though I might trust them. Up until I caught them red handed with the silverware, that is, as with any other person. But I am an infidel. An unbeliever, a disbeliever, any other euphemism they come up with: yes, that's me. Therefore, since I am so vile, I do not qualify as fully human and deceiving me is not lying. Having primed me in that way, playacting on demand fulfils my expectations – they think: but I have read their source material.
Then there's Kitman. In my previous example, failing to inform me that lying means deceiving another human being and leaving out the bit about me not being human is a deliberate oversight. Claiming to have been converted but not saying they're allowed to pretend, even required to in some circumstances, is a gaping hole in their communication but for an Egyptian the indoctrination may well only be a generation deep. If so, it's better described as light brainwashing and easy enough to overcome.

Just because he was a cathylick doesn't mean that we don't have anything to learn from Torquemada and the Spanish Inquisition in making a determination as to whether someone is "Christian" or not.
Hell's foundations quiver at the shout of praise;
brothers, lift your voices, loud your anthems raise.
...and get off my lawn

They talk at me sometimes. I can hardly tell the difference. The words are different, of course, but they're saying the same thing.

Generally, I think that of all the devil-worshipping heathens, fundamentalist Muslims like those in the Taliban or ISIS are the most similar to the GOP. I'd certainly trust an ex-Muslim Christian before I'd trust an ex-Hindu, an ex-Catholic, or, God forbid, an "ex"-Jew.

† Titus 1:10-16† "For there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers, specially they of the circumcision: Whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucre's sake ... Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith; Not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men, that turn from the truth ... Unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled. They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate."

What about an ex-Christian who converted to the Islam?

There is truth to that, Brother Lukes. I think, however, we need to be wary of any ex Muslim who retains a Mideastern accent when he tries to speak English. Certainly God does not have time to ask English-as-a-second-language who prays to repeat what he just said. The English must be perfect.

Some of the words they get wrong are almost comical. When Jesus hears a prayer, for exorcism perhaps or healing or prosperity, He really wants to help but the wrong form of words means He'd be sending a really really bad message. For example a grieving parent having been brought up to attend Sunday School, assist with fund raising and charitable outreach such as the soup kitchen or clothing and, as they grew up, providing what they could in other ways while caring for a family of their own until suddenly, in a storm one day when the telephones went down a child was obliged to use public transport. Only a ten minute ride but there on the seat were some exudates from the monkey pox, a virulent resistant strain deposited by a previous passenger. The seat was still warm. Everything was crowded and steaming from the rain.
Now blasted with this, thing, and there being no medical remedy what did the parent do? Jesus heard the prayer, word perfect in every respect – except for one detail. Not the years of devotion to charity, not the voluntary work, all of these were joyfully undertaken with a cheerful heart. But that prayer could have been addressed to an idol. Mary? Sixtus? Even to the most blasphemous idol of all number 3 in the chart below? It makes no difference. Perhaps in the parent's mind the child's suffering was in sharper focus than God's will being done? How could perfect Jesus respond to any such prayer.

This is sold as
Joshua | This is sold as
Mary | This is sold as
Jesus |

Imagine what would be His reaction to words coming out as (unintended) swear words? Mildly amusing perhaps in the context of a foreign accent —— but those other prayers were also unintentionally wrong: from the parent who'd been brought up in a papist country where other Churches simply did not exist: from the parent so worried at their child's distress they'd forgotten to acknowledge God's will might be for even more agony and forgotton to praise Him for that. And if they weren't answered, despite Jesus wanting to so much, a weird accent surely would be equally off-putting. Especially with the swear words.

Muslims are all sneaky and intent on killing Christian men and raping Christian women. They're even worse than Mexicans, because most Mexicans are too lazy to do those things. I hate them because they are so racist.
The only way to be sure that a Mohammedian convert to Christianity is sincere is to see if he starts bathing. Their God, Allah (actually one of Satan's demons) hates nothing so much as a clean body, and the Islamics are constitutionally incapable of bathing.
