Then why did they put a subliminal backwards dedication to "their sweet Satan" in their music?
O Lord our God, help us to tear their soldiers to bloody shreds with our shells; help us to cover their smiling fields with the pale forms of their patriot dead; help us to drown the thunder of the guns with the shrieks of their wounded, writhing in pain; help us to lay waste their humble homes with a hurricane of fire; help us to wring the hearts of their unoffending widows with unavailing grief; help us to turn them out roofless with little children to wander unfriended the wastes of their desolated land in rags and hunger and thirst, sports of the sun flames of summer and the icy winds of winter, broken in spirit, worn with travail, imploring Thee for the refuge of the grave and denied it--for our sakes who adore Thee, Lord, blast their hopes, blight their lives, protract their bitter pilgrimage, make heavy their steps, water their way with their tears, stain the white snow with the blood of their wounded feet! We ask it, in the spirit of love, of Him Who is the Source of Love, and Who is the ever-faithful refuge and friend of all that are sore beset and seek His aid with humble and contrite hearts. Amen.
God being truth, justice, goodness, beauty, power, and life, man is falsehood, iniquity, evil, ugliness, impotence, and death. God being master, man is the slave. Incapable of finding justice, truth, and eternal life by his own effort, he can attain them only through a divine revelation... he who desires to worship God must harbor no childish illusions about the matter, but bravely renounce his liberty and humanity.

And I detect someone has either been at the scrumpy, or else has been growing some very naughty weeds out in the back field. Nothing else would explain the post above.

May I introduce to you all, a fellow Floridian, Mr. John R. Butler
John R. Butler is a Southwest Florida musician/singer/songwriter/forward-slash user. Gross Exaggeration Monthly magazine called him "perhaps the most important songsmith of his--and any other--generation."
Butler has played on stages before thousands of audience members all over the country...just before having been ejected by security, in order that the scheduled acts could get started.
Butler's 13-year-old dog Robbie travels with him throughout the U.S., basically because he has no other choice. Butler loves puppies, sunsets, sharing and caring and all that other romantic crap.
His breakthrough song, "The Hand of the Almighty" has been played on radio stations throughout the country and has become an underground hit among progressive clergy, divinity students and church janitors.

Sir, thank you, but any record album with one of those "parents advisory" stickers on them are off limits for any True Christian.
I've been enjoying Perry Como lately, despite the fact that he was a damned mary worshiper. He could whip out quite the jungle rythm when called upon, I can tell you!
Here is a partial list from just a few scripture verses:
Hypocrites (Matthew 24:51), The Unforgiving (Mark 11:26), Homosexuals (Romans 1:26, 27), Fornicators (Romans 1:29), The Wicked (Romans 1:29), The Covetous (Romans 1:29), The Malicious (Romans 1:29), The Envious (Romans 1:29), Murderers (Romans 1:29), The Deceitful (Romans 1:29), Backbiters (Romans 1:30), Haters of God (Romans 1:30), The Despiteful (Romans 1:30), The Proud (Romans 1:30), Boasters (Romans 1:30), Inventors of evil (Romans 1:30), Disobedient to parents (Romans 1:30), Covenant breakers (Romans 1:31), The Unmerciful (Romans 1:31), The Implacable (Romans 1:31), The Unrighteous (1Corinthians 6:9), Idolaters (1Corinthians 6:9), Adulterers (1Corinthians 6:9), The Effeminate (1Corinthians 6:9), Thieves (1Corinthians 6:10), Drunkards (1Corinthians 6:10), Reviler (1Corinthians 6:10), Extortioners (1Corinthians 6:10), The Fearful (Revelation 21:8), The Unbelieving (Revelation 21:8), The Abominable (Revelation 21:8), Whoremongers (Revelation 21:8), Sorcerers (Revelation 21:8), All Liars (Revelation 21:8)

The devil, whose business is to pervert the truth, mimics the exact circumstance of the Divine Sacraments. He baptises his believers and promises forgiveness of sins...he celebrates the oblation of bread, and brings in the symbol of the resurrection. Let us therefore acknowledge the craftiness of the devil, who copied certain things of those that be divine." Tertullian (155-222 AD) from The Prescription Against Heretics' Ch XL

Look at this one. I think it was a really great come back, considering I didn't like their 90's career.

Is this the same Slayer who you bone-headedly insist aren't Satanic (or "santic", as you put it)? Either way, that looks like an awful waste of a lot of good chocolate sauce. Just imagine the cakes that Sister Thumper could have topped with all that chocolate sauce if your long-haired friends hadn't decided to use it for their naughty pranks?

Friends,
I bring you the timeless sound of "The Braillettes" struck blind that they may not witness the perfidy of worldly things yet in their hearts praising The Lord.
I'm reminded of "And I will bring distress upon men, that they shall walk like blind men, because they have sinned against the LORD: and their blood shall be poured out as dust, and their flesh as the dung." Zep:1:17:
These fine young maidens await the second miraculous touch of the Hand of The Lord and, stoically bear no ill will - I refer you to the third track from the bottom - "That's What He Did for Me".
For the unsaved out there, think, I beg you for your soul's sake, to think what The Lord God Almighty can do for you if you only accept him fully, wholly, Holy, into your hearts.

I bet a lot of you didn't know that your uncle Nobar can sing. This pic was taken at one of the Landover field trips to help save the sinners at one of our local malls.
I only got to sing one song at this stop because we had additional destinations to go to. I usually play "Take My Hand, Precious Lord" when I'm put on the spot to play; it's such a great song and makes a great impression on all who hear it.
Quote:
Take My Hand Precious Lord
Precious Lord, take my hand
Lead me on,
Let me stand
I'm tired, I am weak I am worn
Through the storm, through the night
Lead me on to the light
Take my hand precious Lord, lead me home
When my way grows drear precious Lord linger near
When my life is almost gone
Hear my cry,
Hear my call
Hold my hand lest I fall
Take my hand precious Lord, lead me home
When the darkness appears and the night draws near
And the day is past and gone
At the river I stand
Guide my feet,
Hold my hand
Take my hand precious Lord, lead me home
Precious Lord, take my hand
Lead me on,
Let me stand
I am tired, I am weak, I am worn
Through the storm, through the night
Lead me on to the light
Take my hand precious Lord, lead me home
|
May you be a blessing to every life you touch.

Matthew:
5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled
10:21 And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death.
10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
