Friends, I know what you're thinking, but I just heard a song by the Insane Clown Posse, and I was immediately moved to tears, because it seemed to be a metaphor for the teachings of Jesus Christ.
Take a gander at the lyrics and see if you don't recognize a stunning reference to the promise of aeternal peace and fellowship that can be yours if you'll just follow Jesus:
Quote:
"Let's Go All The Way"
Ain't nobody jealous, everybody has they own
Nobody locked up, everybody, everybody is free to roam
Look at that scrubby with a hottie on his side
Look at those rich kids, poor kids,
Everybody together on the same side
And they down to ride
Lets go all the way
(Let's go all the way)
Let's go all the way
Let's go all the way
Ain't nobody left out, everybody gets to go
It can never be too crowded, come on, we still pickin' up some mo
Don't nobody hate you, playa hate you,
There ain't no hate at all
Gotta million hands to catch you cause they'll catch you
And they never will let you fall
And we ain't gotta worry all ya'll
Lets go all the way
(Let's go all the way)
Let's go all the way
Let's go all the way
Never know sickness, no sickness, nobody has to die
Everything's answered, what didn't then, we'll never have to wonder why
Won't nobody rush you, no pressure, be as long as you wanna be
Can't you guess what this place is,
Your future make it a reality
all you have to do is follow me
Lets go all the way
(Let's go all the way)
Let's go all the way
Let's go all the way
[repeats until song ends]

I feel the music video for this song really drives the point home, with the lead singer in the role of Jesus, gathering apostles from all walks of life, and even converting those who initially scorned Him:
I am just so touched and happy to find a modern metaphor for the Gospel of Jesus Christ encoded in an Insane Clown Posse music video.
We know there is a great spiritual thirst among the juggalos and juggalettes, as most of them come from broken homes in the poorest of communities, and many have not been trained up good or taken to church by their parents.
This video speaks to that thirst, and I feel called upon to join the juggalo community, that the Lord might use me to slake that thirst. I really feel I could do a lot of soul-winning here.
I know what you're thinking. You're thinking those juggalos are no damned good, and nothing I could do would ever turn them away from the path of iniquity. However, let us not forget that the Bible is filled with examples of evangelists meeting people where they are, and coming down to their level, so to speak.
A prime example of this would be what Paul did with the philosophers at Mars Hill. He began with what they knew about an “unknown God” and argued for the existence of a personal God, as described in Acts 17:22-34.
Similarly, I plan to exploit this great spiritual yearning that the juggalos have expressed. Those young men and women are clearly desperate for somebody to love and validate them. I will use this need for validation, this ache they have for a proper father figure. I will use these things to get those kids down on their knees and ready for the Lord of pour Himself into them until they are filled to the point of overflowing!
Now then, I'm going to have to work on my own unique clown makeup that sends a strongly Christian message. I did a Google search to try and get some ideas, but, sadly, I couldn't find any that incorporated Christian iconography.
Anyway, my goal is to send a message to the young juggalos and juggalettes that Jesus is "hep" and "cool" and "with it."
Furthermore, while the juggalos have this saying that they're "Down with the clown until they're dead and in the ground," I hope to convey the message that, as juggalos, they can be down with Jesus Christ not only until they're dead and in the ground, but long afterwards, and can look forward to spending aeternity with Him in Heaven, making up rap hymns to celebrate His perfection!
PS: Does anybody have any suggestions for a good juggalo nickname? I feel I'll need a good monicker to give myself "street cred."
