I am bad at financial advice. If you want a good ROI, hospitals, schools, orphanages, and Holocaust grave sites might not be the best investment. War tends to destroy the former, grave sites don´t do well either. Corpses don´t have money nor invest.


But you could invest in medicare for all. I see a growing business there. It has worked for most countries.

Yes, Sister Basilissa, Putin loves his people and wants only the best for them. In Russia, that means don't speak a word against him. In Ukraine it means fly the Russian flag. Some have to die for the greater good.

We know from the historical record, Jesus said He that is not with me is against me. There are savages out there who deny Matthew recorded those words simply because they personally have seen no writing early enough to be a record of anything; rather whoever wrote it—these wretches say Matthew wasn't a real person—just made up some words they'd like Jesus to have said.

Another thing they make up is how peace-loving He was. We know that one day Jesus will establish a peaceful reign because when He returns many blackguards will be slain. Perhaps I'm overly liberal in my views: I say "many blackguards" because some may be Redeemed even at that late date: rejecting God means spurning His Perfect Love just as much as denying what He actually said. Some of His words are commandments. Some of those commandments involve weapons: he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one.

My understanding is imperfect because Jesus still has things to teach me. In my foolishness, clothes seem rather important. But given the choice between a new overcoat and a lethal device, should the Christian go against God's instruction and buy the garment? Those who think so really need to explain their reasons for saying Jesus was wrong.

I may be just a simple country innkeeper but I do know a little bit about geopolitics and the European Union is probably the foremost enemy of Christ in the world today. Not only is Putin reacting to Ruthenian warmongering, he is combating the spread of of EU hegemonic dominance. With Brexit and now this peacekeeping action in the Russian borderlands, the advance of the Fourth Reich has finally been checked. Glory be to God!
