And yes, it's also happening in the Confederacy:

Freedom isn't free, yankee.

Why is labor-market flexibility on the rise?

Thank "one particular evangelical group...run by an American who raised cash around the States....managed to raise over $3 million dollars by my calculations over the course of the 1990s" to pay slave dealers to release slaves (and use the money to enslave more).

And why not? The book of Genesis states that Africans (decendents of Ham) are cursed to be the slaves of the rest of us for all generations. These "abolitionists" only want to abolish God's will.

In fact being anti-slavery is explicity denounced by the TEN COMMANDMENTS. Yes, the same Ten Commandments that need to be carved in stone at every public place and in every schoolroom.

Exodus 20:17:

You shall not covet your neighbor’s house; you shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, or male or female slave, or ox, or donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbor.

Slaves who covet their freedom are breaking the Ten Commandments.

The Bible says we are free to enslave any foreigner or immigrant:

As for the male and female slaves whom you may have, it is from the nations around you that you may acquire male and female slaves. You may also acquire them from among the aliens residing with you, and from their families that are with you, who have been born in your land; and they may be your property. You may keep them as a possession for your children after you, for them to inherit as property.

The decendents of freed slaves are, under Biblical law, still the property of the decendents of the slaveowners. The only reparations for slavery should be for whites:

By disobeying their owners, the slaves disobeyed Christ. The New Testement says slaves are to treat their owners like God:

Slaves, obey your earthly masters with fear and trembling, in singleness of heart, as you obey Christ; not only while being watched, and in order to please them, but as slaves of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart. Render service with enthusiasm, as to the Lord...

This is the kind of story that makes an old Christian like me, and millions of other Christians around America and the world so proud.

I was really getting worried about the state of underground slavery after the alleged "President" Obama was "elected." Some were saying that having a black man in the Oval Office would teach blacks all around the world that they too could make it out of their slums and ghettos by means other than shooting a basketball through a hoop or becoming a famous rap star. Folks, all President Obama has done is set an unrealistic standard for these young kids. How cruel of you to get the hopes of these children up and tell them that they can one day make something of themselves when we all know that they simply can't!

Slavery gives these unfortunate races a feeling of self-confindence, self-worth and importance. These kids are never going to amount to anything and it's better that we put them to work than leave them on the streets where they will rob our liquor stores, rape our white women and steal our pies that are cooling on the window sills.

If I've said it once, I've said it a million times -- in America, during slavery, 100% of the blacks were employed, which is in stark contrast to the millions that are currently unemployed today and unable to feed their needlessly oversized, entirely accidentally, but totally Phat Phamilies (dressing your infant in Fubu is extremely needlessly expensive but it's also a cherished cornerstone of the black "culture"). During this economic downturn how can someone who claims to be for human rights be opposed to slavery?

It's a good one, from the perspective of the Human Asset Enterpreneur. I'm trying to think of a term that covers the benefits to the human capital assets themselves. For example, one of the main problems reported by Americans is a lack of willpower to work harder and be more frugal. That's why so many people are fat and in debt. Too much consumption, not enough work - and the cause of both problems is a lack of willpower.

Maybe "Willpower Assisted Associate" would be a good marketing term.

Personally I think "de-evolution" would be closer to describe the Christian belief; all defects in humanity are caused by the various curses from God for various sins. Humans started out white and pure and threw their own failings are what we see today.

It's been in front of the states since March 2, 1861; how much time will the states take to pass it? It passed the House of Representatives with a vote of 133-65 and the Senate with a vote of 24-12.

Ohio, Maryland and Illinois have ratified it, when are another 35 states going to get on board!

I don't see what's so bad about slavery, from not only the white perspective, but also the negro perspective. Look: Every negro had a stable, secure job, was fed three times a day, lived in a very safe area (unlike today with their ghettos), didn't have to worry about crime/drugs/unwed mothers, etc. Ultimately, what did the negroes in is because negroes simply don't like to work and are rather shiftless. Jesus-hating "abolitionists" took advantage of negro laziness and fought slavery.

Look at any predominantly negro natural habitat like Harlem and Watts. These places hold national records for unemployment, crime, unwed mothers, drug abuse, welfare abuse, etc. When you set negroes free, they revert back to their animal state. Would anyone advocate letting dogs run free? No, of course not. They can't take care of themselves; that's what they have humans for. The same goes for negroes.

It's the White Man's Burden to look after the uncivilized, inferior races and take care of them. Without us, their "societies" collapse and become unruly full of problems. I truly believe this quote from the Bible applies to us having to control negroes....

Close, but not quite. "Employee" is a socialist class-war term. "Associate" is the true term.

"Secure Associate" is good, but all of these terms leave a bit of information out. Maybe we'll end up having to make an acronym. Acronyms are great, especially if you use predatory and/or dangerous animals. For example:

The pertinent issue that President Obama needs to tackle right away is Slave Reparations. While I am all for universal healthcare that foots the bill to rich, white people, I think reparations have gone ignored long enough. In the past, our people were promised 40 acres and a mule. Due to interest (and making up for false promises), I think the United States government owes every African-American citizen $259,745. (I checked with an accountant friend of mine and that is an accurate figure)

Now paying all 41 million African-Americans in this country comes to the paltry sum of $10,649,545,000,000 or 10.6 trillion dollars. This is an urgent issue that needs to be addressed. Now, some may say, "Why should we pay people who never were slaves?". There's two reasons for that...

1) It's honorary and symbolic. Slaves worked for 250 years without pay and that adds up. All these people were never paid, so it's a symbolic gesture towards these deceased people to pay their descendents.

2) Their descendents suffer from slavery. The repercussions from slavery are in effect all the way to now in 2009. The higher crime rates, welfare usage, unemployment, etc. can all be blamed on white people in the past who enslaved African-Americans.

Now some people are thinking: "How are we going to pay $10.6 trillion?" The answer is very simple. If we combine the savings of abolishing all prisons in the United States, plus the dismantling of the U.S. military, as well as increasing taxes on white people 40%, we will have the money to pay back reparations to the African-Americans so long wronged, with some money leftover for universal healthcare.

Of course, the reason why we don't do such a thing (which would solve all problems in our country) is that people are racist and bigoted and don't want to pay African-Americans for working for them! <---racist smiley, should be brown-skinned

This was a substantial investment! Yet they were forcibly appropriated by the War of Northern Aggression. And many of these "people" ran off on their own, stealing themselves from the people who had legally bought them at the price of a BMW!

When are the Negroes going to reimburse the white people for stealing these valuable assets?

We need another 52 years of inflation added to that. So, let's say $1.1M (inflation didn't really take off until after the creation of the Fed).

I'd say that means that the black folks alive today need to start saving up to pay back their debts!

Oh, and let's not forget the free transportation from Africa to the United States!
