Honestly, who goes in for video game development unless you're beastly with art work? I actually have a career in network infrastructure and i make 75k a year, i am quite happy with my life right now, considering how young i am and how much money i have stashed away already for retirement. And yes, it is quite pathetic that jobs have gone from associates to bachelors to masters that quickly, really sad when some computer gamers like myself know more than most people that get a degree anywhere related to computers. So again, i am happy with my life on that front, and i dont need spiritual cleansing or a supernatural being to over watch my foot steps. You getting hit by a bus tomorrow is just as likely as me getting hit by a bus tomorrow.

While you become adapt at pressing buttons and perhaps have great hand eye coordination, you have not developed your inner self beyond the level of a child because game playing does not build your emotional intelligence or your spirit. Is this activity really preparing you to be independent, emotionally competitive and tenacious? All traits required to earn a living and care for yourself or have a relationship with God.

You do have a great emotional boundary when it comes to playing video games. There are great teams, clans, communities you can be a part of, your adrenaline pumps beyond belief and a lot of people actually have a higher self esteem from video games that they play (hello kitty, island adventures doesnt count). Bleeding edge first person shooters run you through many emotions and feelings , you can live your life happily from playing video games. You vent your life through the bible and through Jesus, i vent my life through video games and the brotherhood, the bond of the people that i play beside on my team.

Why would one want to be a true christian if it is uneccesary to the development of life. You don't need jesus to be a great person. If you met me on the street tomorrow, you would walk away with a smile on your face without even bringing up religion, just because of the way i was raised. There are people on this earth that can very easily develop morals and self standards without ever flipping a page in the bible or walking into a church. Where the hell did that come from? Thanks for basically insinuating that i am useless because i have played games. I help my mom with her medical bills, with her house, with her irs problems, i have more money at the age of 23 than my mother had at the age of 43. So thanks a whole bunch, world is a different place and there are young people out there that can prove their worth, that have played games. I have seen bad times, i lived in a bad household, i lived without a mother or father for most of my life because their work schedule was too hectic to keep up.
So again, referring to earlier, My life has not be tainted by drugs, alcohol, cigarettes (even though i lived in a house with two smokers, a drinker and a drug addict sister), and i live my life happily. It just so happens that I read all of it. And it also happens that I'm a christian follower as well but, there is no reason to judge Rawr for what he believes in. I myself have played counter-strike for more than 2 years and have found nothing wrong with myself so far. It just seems to trouble me that followers of my own religion would not have the same open mindedness as me or other people for that matter. Rawr does have a point about the things we do and we do have points about the things he does. But arguing over the internet is just a horrible way to voice our opinions. My first game was DooM and after that came something else, until I started on Warcraft 3 and Battlefield 2.

The fact that games are the new scapegoat is just a pattern. It used to be comic books, then it was rock music and movies, now it's video games. Who knows what the future will bring? The names for the first type were named after their location and the others were top secret so they named them (remember this is the story not anything in real life) as i was saying, top secret so they were named after Greek Letters.

Show me where God has commanded that those separate from him are to be cast aside by you.
