Boycott by Science Group Over Louisiana Law Seen as Door to Teaching Creationism

NEW ORLEANS — A leading scientific group has announced its intention to boycott Louisiana because of a new state law that could open the door to teaching creationism in the public schools.

The measure, signed into law last summer by Gov. Bobby Jindal, allows teachers to “use supplemental textbooks” in the classroom to “help students critique and review scientific theories.”

A leading Christian conservative group here, the Louisiana Family Forum, championed the law; a member proposed the bill to its legislative sponsor.

We all know that while we True Christians™ use boycotts to protect our belief system and way of life, Godless Marxist academics use them to force the rest of us to tow the line. Also, by going against a group with "Family" in its name, they are engaging in Gestapo-like tactics against families. Won't someone please think of the families?

I really hate it when scientists pretend that this is about evolution. It's about a lot more than that. Scientific theories are taught as if they were truths, when they aren't. Here is an incomplete list of scientific theories that have no Biblical basis, and therefore should be questioned:

* standard model of particle physics
* Newton's laws of motion
* Newton's law of universal gravitation
* Newton's law of cooling
* conservation of energy
* Joule's first law
* Joule's second law
* kinetic theory of gasses
* laws of thermodynamics
* big bang
* cell theory
* evolution by natural selection
* Archimedes' principle
* Kepler's laws of planetary motion
* Dalton's law of multiple proportions
* Coulomb's law
* Ohm's law
* Kirchoff's laws of current, voltage, and thermal radiation
* Maxwell's laws of electromagnetism

Really, public high school classes are filled with bad science that needs to be stickered and rejected by students.

BTW, there is Biblical support for plate tectonics, so, despite some questioning by Christians, I'm letting that one slide.
