I'm afraid I must object to you forcing your daughter to marry her rapist. Will no-one see sense?

Argue and quote Bible versus at me all you want, but you won't convince me that rape isn't wrong and damaging to the victims life.

Who in this case is the woman and not the man. Go on then, tell me how my opinion doesn't count, and how I'm wrong and all that. I really don't care, but this topic made me sick to my stomach, so I had to throw in my two cents.

"Nigglet" is an appropriate word for a Negro (capitalized) child. "N*GG*R" is horrifyingly inappropriate.

Please don't put "Sick" or "Twisted" next to "Bible," it's ridiculous. We uphold the Word of the Lord. He said that we should do as we do, and that is how He wants it to be. Sorry if you can't accept that with your new-age ideas about "Womens' Rights" and other nonsense.

Ezikiel, I fail to see the threat in my infraction message. Somehow, I just can't bring myself to care.

Anyhow, moving on....

If your daughter refuses to marry her rapist, I don't see that theres much you can do. You can't really force her into it... You might have to work this one out on your own. Unless you talk to your daughter and find out why on earth she made this decision.

Rape is illegal and wrong and can leave women traumatised for life.
I totally disagree with the fact that she has to marry him. People should marry for love, not because they were raped.

Since when are women second class citizens?

I`m reading and reading and the thing that bothers me is why you think the poor girl have to marry the rapist???she probably hates the guy and the child(despite the fact that the child is not guilty of anything)The thing you are sujesting is cruel....Wake up and realize that!!!

Why is it cruel? A girl cannot go slutting about without consequences. She did not hate him before the rape, you know she like the rape, all women want to be needed. Why else would they were clothes like they do, makeup, perfume and so on? Without that stuff, men would ignore them except to have Soldiers for God, which is exactly what rape is. You have to respect a woman who does not play the games of the masses and allows the natural act of being around just to make babies. It is impossible for any woman to hate any man who gives her any attention whatsoever. She should not however, make herself available if her father cannot pay the 50 shekels. That is just wrong otherwise.

It's not a matter of the girl being forced to marry her rapist. It's a matter of the rapist having damaged a father's daughter, so she can now no longer be married to a True Christian™ man. So, the rapist has to take responsibility and marry her, since he already took her virginity.

I find it hard to understand why new visitors find it so hard to see what's right in front of their eyes.

Sister Jenny, you put it perfectly well.. But I still imagine there will be Heathens who still come here saying it's cruel and unjust.
When infact there is nothing cruel at all.
If a woman is raped and does NOT cry out, or call for help. Then surely she is accepting of the situation. And is allowing the man to carry on. Therefore she has no grounds to refuse to marry him.
