In this world of sin it is refreshing to see a Comptroller, a high level Texas financial officer, use the powers of his office to investigate a bar that held a drag show for children. Along with men in drag reading stories in public libraries on Saturday mornings, this country is experiencing an assault of manhood and womanhood. Satan is intent on putting confusion into the heads of children.

This assault on gender began back a few decades when comedian Flip Wilson performed as a female character called "Geraldine." It appealed to children at that time. Then along came Jonathan Winters who dressed in drag to play "Maud." After that was Dana Carvey and his character called "The Church Lady." All of these were due to Satan's scheme to introduce to little boys they might be girls.

We have to unite across the U.S. to stop this.

It started long before Flip Wilson. In an ongoing pattern, Black performers co-opted White artistic expression and re-packaged it to make it more palatable to the masses so they could rake in the money.

Perhaps there's been too much infernal influence peppering the airwaves of our broadcast media or getting into the tubes and cables of web archives. Perhaps the social degeneration acknowledged on all sides, albeit for different reasons, is a consequence of this. Nevertheless, a quick look at the historical origins of the material (regardless of how it was disseminated) is worth five minutes of anyone's time – anyone wishing to be informed, that is. A shrinking market in that case: and here we'll start with a picture followed by a short video clip.

The "drag" character was a type of clown, acting in cahoots with a carnival villain not only to provide entertainment but as a commentary on current events and political figures, providing a public education service – if the best way to learn something is to be laughing when you receive it. In other words a lampoon.

When the lampoon becomes reality, any learning opportunity is lost. All that remains is indoctrination. Carnival villains no longer live on stages but are released into the wild. Clowns offer no lesson beyond their own example and, acting in cahoots with their old stage partners, bring the house down for real.

Christian education avoids this by having a stable text for reference in all situations. Learning to read. Mother's singing before birth and Church services from day one, comprehension exercises and the principles of critical thinking. For the stage show to work, those were necessary: knowing how to distinguish the clown from the villain, identifying stooges and knowing when to "look behind you." Now it's all clown fusion and nobody knows when to laugh. And as we saw earlier, not laughing is the same as not learning.

Armies of freaks march around, oblivious of the need for Salvation and ignorant of how it should be obtained. So sad.

I've just been asked why I showed the pope sitting on a toadstool. Obviously that sort of question is best ignored – but it did make me think, What about popes and cardinals in general?

Where do these fit into the scheme of things? They certainly wear some funny clothes and weren't photographed back then with the founding fathers.
