How
wonderful! I also like your choice of verses tremendously! As for myself, I am a bit
cautions when it comes to the part of your post regarding the prerequisites for Salvation: Believe and ask... Obviously, this is a nice start but do you also consider that
Repentance and Fear and following God's Commandments would be necessary? At least the Bible seems to think they are.
Acts 3:19
Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;
I am not claiming that a 4-year-old would not be able to repent under extraordinary gifts from God. I just find it a bit
unlikely.
Ecclesiastes 12:13
Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
1 Peter 2:17
Honour all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honour the king.
Revelation 14:7
Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.
How do you or your mother fulfill these commandments. I am, again, not saying that you don't but I am perhaps too prudent to accept that belief and asking is all that there is to being a True Christian™.
Yours in Christ,
Elmer
