This will be my final message on this forum, so let's make it a good one.

I just noticed your signature, which made me burst out in laughter. According to you, macs are gay. Your reason? For a while their logo was multi-coloured. Oh sweet mercy you're so thick it's laughable. You suggest that a rainbow is gay, despite the fact a rainbow is light refracting through water (usually rain) and splitting into the different colours of the visual spectrum. It was adopted by gay people, that is fact, but it is also used for many things that are in fact not gay. Children's television, for example. Children's minds are stimulated through colour, and excessive use of it helps them to identify and relate to objects to help cognitive development. Apple don't even use the multi-coloured apple as their logo anymore, so surely because they don't do it anymore, they're not gay? If a gay person is suddenly 'converted' (as you lot seem to think they can be), you would say he was saved and was no longer 'evil'. Why would this concept not apply to other things? I am currently using a mac, and I have never had any homosexual tendencies. They are simply computers, the only difference being they run off of different software and hardware. When it comes down to it they and PCs all have a display, a keyboard, a mouse, a hard-drive, a processor... They're almost identical, they run from the same concept of zeroes and ones, they are simply a glorified on/off switch working at billions of switches a second. There are no sexual connotations with computers, they are merely human devices. If you believe macs are promoting homosexuality, don't buy one. But don't go around telling other people how to think.

I also noticed a thread about someone who had a son who masturbated, and was contemplating emasculating the lad because of it. What kind of parent would wish to remove their child's genitals? I also noticed a thread where a woman had been raped by someone and refused to marry him. People regarded the rapist with sympathy! How can you sit there and feel sympathetic for someone who destroyed a young girl's life, whilst at the same time encouraging a man to remove his child's penis because he masturbates? Wanking is a form of release, and it prevents people from going outside and raping women because it expels testosterone from the system, reducing sexual drives temporarily. I'm certain that God would rather I masturbate regularly than rape innocent young girls. Oh, and for those of you who are wondering about my sex life, I'm not a virgin, I've slept with many girls, I masturbate regularly, and I intend to marry when I am older and raise children. I'm just a normal bloke getting along. Have I ever been subject to any punishment from God? I have also noticed many people refer to alcohol as 'evil'. I drink alcohol regularly, and I have had many people like you tell me that I should not. Surely you must remember the story when Jesus turned water into wine? Now ask yourselves this: if alcohol was evil, why did Jesus create it? I have never had a single decent answer to this question, so please, tell me why you think it is wrong to drink!

I get a lot of people asking me how I think the world was created, and I always answer to them "I don't know". This is because I don't, and nobody in the world truly knows because it happened before our time. I try not to think about the creation of the universe because I believe that it is something we are not meant to know.

You trawl through popular culture and look for any slight reference to something 'Satanical' just so you can feel like a prophet, someone who is important and of breeding. You claim that homosexuals are evil because somebody wrote it down in a book saying that it was the 'word of God'. Has it ever occurred to you that maybe they were lying? We have absolutely no evidence to ride upon, yet you use the Bible as evidence when it simply just the written word. That is not evidence, that is faith.

I know that I probably won't be around long enough after this to see any of the responses to my questions, but I'm not looking for an answer. I'm trying to make you think, to make you realise that everything that is written in the Bible could be completely and utterly true to the very letter, but also that it could be complete and utter cobblers. Use your loaf, use the brain that God has given you, don't just rely blindly on what other people tell you is true. Think for yourself, choose your ways carefully and in the way that you want to. To be human is to question, so why aren't you questioning God?

There is so much more I want to say, yet so little enthusiasm for you tossers, so I will leave you with this thought:

God is omniscient (to the pifflewits out there that means all-knowing), so he must know the future. If he knows the future, why does he punish us for things he knows we're going to do and therefore have no control over?

Yes and no. God is all knowing so he knows the future already. But that does not mean there is nothing for us to learn.

I spend a lot of time thinking about this. For example why did God leave Adam and Eve alone if he would know in advance what would happen?

I think the point of all this is not about God, but about us. God is almighty and all knowing, but we are just simple beings. God does know in advance what will happen but we do not. So for us the choices we make matter, even if God knows in advance what we will choose. We do not know this in advance so for us it is a real choice.

I think it is comparable to raising a child. In many cases the parent knows in advance what will happen, but still the parent allows the child to figure it out on his own so the child will learn from the experience. I think it works the same with God and us.
