Quick interview to the community. -
02-01-2019, 04:57 PM
My name is Jose, I'm a journalist from Spain and I would ask this community a few, slightly political but mostly spiritual questions. I am not an atheist, I am an agnostic-christian searching for answers to questions that probably will go unanswered until the end of times.
Because English is not my second language, I may make occasional grammatical mistakes, I apologize in advance for that.
Enough about me and let's get this thread started:
1. Why did you join this church?
2. What's your opinion on same sex relationships? Where do you draw the line? Is same sex attraction (not sexual intercourse) okay?
3. In the political spectrum, where do you position yourself?
4. Regarding gender roles, do you think men have to be the breadwinner and women have to stay at home?
5. What's your opinion on atheists?
6. Do you support legal inmigration?
7. Do you support refugees?
8. Would you allow racial minorities in your church?
9. If it's raining outside and a beggar enters your church for shelter, how would you react?
10. Last question: What's your general opinion on the science community? What about Christian scientists?

Well hello and to our forum! While "agnostic-Christian" seems more like two ends of a continuum, rather than a single thing, I applaud you for at least trying to be Christian.
Quote:

No worries.
Quote:
1. Why did you join this church?
|
Because it is the only church that follows the Bible 100% rather than cherry picking a few nice sounding verses and disregarding the rest.
Quote:
2. What's your opinion on same sex relationships? Where do you draw the line? Is same sex attraction (not sexual intercourse) okay?
|
Personally, I don't care, but it's not my opinion that counts. God hates homosexuality:
Leviticus 20:13 - If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood [shall be] upon them.
And lust:
Matthew 5:28 - But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.
Quote:
3. In the political spectrum, where do you position yourself?
|
Trump Republican.
Quote:
4. Regarding gender roles, do you think men have to be the breadwinner and women have to stay at home?
|
It doesn't matter what I think. God says that women are inferior and should obey their husbands:
Ephesians 5:22-24
22 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.
23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.
24 Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so [let] the wives [be] to their own husbands in every thing.
So a woman is bound to do whatever her husband says.
Quote:
5. What's your opinion on atheists?
|
I don't have an opinion on atheists, but God does:
Psalm 14:1 The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.
Quote:
6. Do you support legal inmigration?
|
Personally, I would, but God doesn't, because He doesn't want these people changing our ways of life:
Deuteronomy 7:1-6
1 When the LORD thy God shall bring thee into the land whither thou goest to possess it, and hath cast out many nations before thee, the Hittites, and the Girgashites, and the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, seven nations greater and mightier than thou;
2 And when the LORD thy God shall deliver them before thee; thou shalt smite them, and utterly destroy them; thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor shew mercy unto them:
3 Neither shalt thou make marriages with them; thy daughter thou shalt not give unto his son, nor his daughter shalt thou take unto thy son.
4 For they will turn away thy son from following me, that they may serve other gods: so will the anger of the LORD be kindled against you, and destroy thee suddenly.
5 But thus shall ye deal with them; ye shall destroy their altars, and break down their images, and cut down their groves, and burn their graven images with fire.
6 For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God: the LORD thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth.
Quote:
7. Do you support refugees?
|
As long as they are somewhere else!
Quote:
8. Would you allow racial minorities in your church?
|
We do. Even the lesser races have a path to God.
Quote:
9. If it's raining outside and a beggar enters your church for shelter, how would you react?
|
I'd greet him with this cheerful Bible verse:
2 Thessalonians 3:10 For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat.
Quote:
10. Last question: What's your general opinion on the science community? What about Christian scientists?
|
I have no opinion, but God certainly does. It is described in 1 Corinthians chapters 1-3, here is the gist of it:
1 Corinthians 2:5 That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.
I hope this was helpful.

Get right with God son, before the rapture and the end of time. Denounce your heathen, messican ways and come to Christianity. It is your only hope.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

Hey there. I notice you didn’t ask for the church’s stance on (ewwie) menstruation and the place women belong in a household. Does Madrid Spain not have females use menstra-huts during “that time” like the good Christian women (especially LBC followers) to use? This church, while I am not an official member or even a tin tither yet I have to say the way that Landover Baptist Church operates and how it’s people operate take The Bible for its literal written word. That way no heathen can try to twist God’s word for whatever they want whether it be an illegal trying to enter the southern border or a beggar thinking he/she needs more than the allotted food stamps they’re allowed to have from the government each month due to them being a lazy ass as my Pa puts it. Also, as a Messican in Spain how many drugs do you smuggle across the border each week? Seems that’s all you people do nowadays.
My name is Maxine Levantine. I am 17 and follow the KJV Bible to a T. If you are wanting to hit on me you can turn away. THIS is reserved for Jesus and my future husband (whoever that may be).

Okay, there's a lot to unpack here. First, I don't know what a "menstra-hut" is. I heard the term first when I was in Nepal doing charity work, but I've never seen them. Care to explain what they are and how they are used? Second, it's spelled Mexican. I'm not a "messican" in Spain, I am a Spaniard. And third, Spain is its own country in Europe, positioned just below France. My country doesn't smuggle drugs to the USA, and I don't know why you think that I would do such a thing. I would advise you to learn geography, and to visit Europe someday, we'll welcome you with open arms .

I am not a "messican" It's not even spelled that way! I am a Spaniard. And I do think there's a God. Considering that the universe is infinite, it would be foolish to say there isn't.

Sorry, all you spics are the same. We are Americans and we are True Christians™. We follow the inerrant Word of God as is written in the KJV Holy Bible. All questions that could ever be asked are answered in. Honestly, we do not care how foolish you are.

First of all, this is NOT a debate forum. We're right and you're wrong, according to Jesus and the Holy Word of God. Please read THIS thread before making an even bigger fool of yourself.
Secondly, while the internets might seem to be "free" to you, this particular corner of the internets is a privately owned Christian forum. The rights you have on this forum are listed HERE. Please contact a Pastor immediately if you feel that any of your rights have been violated.
Finally, your unsaved opinions or tantrums are not even slightly of interest to us. We follow the Holy Word of God TO THE LETTER, and make no apologies for that. One of the most important commandments in the Bible tells us to avoid unsaved scum such as yourself. You wandered in here uninvited, and unwelcome .
If you want to debate people, THIS is the place to go.
Please make a thread of your own in the "Introductions" section of the forum, so that we can properly greet you. Tell us about yourself, your church, and how you came to find Jesus.
And if you're here to flame us, better take a look at THIS before making an even bigger ass out of yourself.
I will pray that the Holy Spirit enter you and chase the demons out of your rectum and let Jesus fill you with His Grace. If you use your God-given free will to reject Christ and His temporary death on the cross for my sins, then you are sending yourself to hellfire.
Here is a partial list from just a few scripture verses:
Hypocrites (Matthew 24:51), The Unforgiving (Mark 11:26), Homosexuals (Romans 1:26, 27), Fornicators (Romans 1:29), The Wicked (Romans 1:29), The Covetous (Romans 1:29), The Malicious (Romans 1:29), The Envious (Romans 1:29), Murderers (Romans 1:29), The Deceitful (Romans 1:29), Backbiters (Romans 1:30), Haters of God (Romans 1:30), The Despiteful (Romans 1:30), The Proud (Romans 1:30), Boasters (Romans 1:30), Inventors of evil (Romans 1:30), Disobedient to parents (Romans 1:30), Covenant breakers (Romans 1:31), The Unmerciful (Romans 1:31), The Implacable (Romans 1:31), The Unrighteous (1Corinthians 6:9), Idolaters (1Corinthians 6:9), Adulterers (1Corinthians 6:9), The Effeminate (1Corinthians 6:9), Thieves (1Corinthians 6:10), Drunkards (1Corinthians 6:10), Reviler (1Corinthians 6:10), Extortioners (1Corinthians 6:10), The Fearful (Revelation 21:8), The Unbelieving (Revelation 21:8), The Abominable (Revelation 21:8), Whoremongers (Revelation 21:8), Sorcerers (Revelation 21:8), All Liars (Revelation 21:8)

Ah, I think I've seen 20 Minutos. If it's the one I'm thinking of, it gets handed out free. Interesting about your problem with the accents, as other people seem to have no difficulty.
Anyway, to answer your questions:
1. Why did you join this church?
I was born into it: the American side of my family and my husband's family have been part of the LBC family for several generations. We stay because we are assured of Salvation: no other church is equally Bible-compliant (KJV 1611).
2. What's your opinion on same sex relationships? Where do you draw the line? Is same sexattraction(not sexual intercourse) okay?
They are unnatural and unbiblical.
3. In the political spectrum, where do you position yourself?
I am a married woman and obey my husband in these matters. He is a Trump supporter (although resident in Godless England, we vote in the US elections) and so do I.
4. Regarding gender roles, do you think men have to be the breadwinner and women have to stay at home?
By "gender" do you mean sex? Gender is for nouns, pronouns and adjectives. If so, see my response to the previous question. My husband instructs me to stay at home and raise our children and I am happy to obey him.
5. What's your opinion on atheists?
Very low.
6. Do you support legal inmigration?
I have no choice but to obey secular law on this matter.
7. Do you support refugees?
What do you mean by "support"?
8. Would you allow racial minorities in your church?
As Sister Basilissa has already said, we do. Brother Gonzalez, for example, is an excellent fellow even though he is foreign.
9. If it's raining outside and a beggar enters your church for shelter, how would you react?
I have no idea. I'd be shocked, as I don't think security should have let him in.
10. Last question: What's your general opinion on the science community? What about Christian scientists?
Secular so-called science is just a theory. We are lucky to have our own scientists (Brother Professor Dr. Elmer White, for example) who clarify these matters for us. As to Christian Science, it appears to be something of a one-issue religion and I'm suspicious of anything founded by a woman.
I could provide biblical support for all of the above, but as you are a journalist you will want to do your own research. So here is my source:
Will you send us a copy of your article? Brother Gonzalez could translate it for us.

Although I have yet to be given member status in this church, I will attempt to answer your questions anyways:
1. I am trying to join this church because it humbly accepts every teaching of the King James Bible (James 2:10) without the slightest hesitation. Other churches pick and choose which parts they want to practice, and which parts they want to conveniently ignore.
2. Not only should homosexuals themselves be put to death, anyone who thinks that homosexuals should not be put to death should also be put to death (Romans 1:32)
Yes, there are such things as thought crimes.
3. I'm a rebel flag flying, gun toting, bible thumping, trump supporting, straight white male christian who is anti illegal immigration, pro life, small government, constitutional originalist, who believes marriage is only between a naturally born man and a woman. How else may I offend you today?
Matthew 15:12
Then came his disciples, and said unto him, Knowest thou that the Pharisees were offended, after they heard this saying?
So perhaps if you want to summarize my political views in one word, it would be: Offensive.
4. Yes, women should be "keepers at home" (Titus 2:5)
5. Atheists are fools (Psalm 14:1)
6. No, I support a permanent and total ban on all immigration in accordance with Deuteronomy 32:8
7. Absolutely not. The last thing this country needs is more immigrants. God says to "Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth" (Genesis 1:28)
God does not say "Let in rapefugees so that they will breed like rats and white Americans become a hated minority"
8. Yes, but I would imagine that some form of segregation is enforced. Since I am not yet a member of this church, I am not qualified to say anything else here.
9. I cannot answer for certain since I am not yet a member of this church, but I would imagine that such a beggar (in other words, a lazy bum), would be shown 2 Thessalonians 3:10, and kicked out of the church.
10. Scientists are falsely so called as per 1 Timothy 6:20

Just told my Pa that some reporter came to the forums. He’s alerting Infowars as we speak about the incoming Messican journalist who is trying to twist the words of True Christian™ people here. In other words, this journalist works for a fake news organization apparently. Pa hasn’t been wrong before. He even said “Yup Trump’ll make America Great Again just you watch Maxine!”
My name is Maxine Levantine. I am 17 and follow the KJV Bible to a T. If you are wanting to hit on me you can turn away. THIS is reserved for Jesus and my future husband (whoever that may be).

Gray-Wolf---You strike me as the kind of journalist our beloved President Trump does not like. You are a pointy-headed liberal. Your first language apparently is Messican. And, you are hiding your motives.
Our leaders here at Landover Baptist Church have answered your questions. I would suggest you pass along your appreciation and confess any sins you might be willing to share.
If you come to America, feel free to stop in at Landover and/or drop by the Office of the Mayor of Freehold.

Isaiah 24:1-3 Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty (2)...as the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him. (3) The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken his word.

- I am not a member of Landover Baptist Church but I am a member of their forum because they follow the Bible 100% and Jesus loves them.
- Same sex attraction is not okay because looking at someone of the same sex with lust is the same as fornicating with them (Matthew 5:28).
- Right as rain.
- Yes. The Bible tells us so. There are many cases of women being competent breadwinners, but this is sinful and they'll go to Hell.
- My opinion doesn't matter. I obey God, who says that atheists are fools (Psalm 14:1).
- I fully support the rights of True Christians to live in whichever country they want. I am in favor of restricting immigration severely to keep out Muslims and Catholic scum.
- Absolutely not. Those Muslim heathens brought their situation upon themselves. I pray for them to suffer more than they already do.
- If they followed the Bible 100%, absolutely. If not, they're probably just there to steal stuff, so no.
- Pass.
- Scientists are atheists, see number 5. Christian Scientists, you mean the cult started by Mary Baker Eddy? Not good.
