We True Christians™ at Landover Baptist have a bit of a problem coming up with the traditional New Year's Resolution. This because we long ago were able to defeat sin. Thus, we cannot say, "In 2023 I will sin less."

Speaking for just myself, my resolution is to call out more sinners in 2023. There are so many sinners that continue without correction--I feel a responsibility. I'll be looking for homers and liberals during the year to offer my help to them.

If others have New Year's Resolutions, it would be helpful to all of us to learn about them.

I am going to concentrate my efforts on the intricacies of Hell and the many ingenious ways Jesus has invented to torment and torture the sinners for eternity. In His everlasting Love He desperately wants people to Save® themselves from these agonizing treatments and it is my duty to remind the sinners that all sins except one are equal, looking at an altar boy is a form of anal rape and sodomistic televisor series, such all of them, should be discarded for Prayer!

So important. Reaching others with the message of our rottenness and the remedy offered by God to set us free from the ultimate catastrophe. Never having made a "New Year's Resolution" reminded me how little I know about assorted platforms which I won't name but where people submit inane comments or pictures of themselves looking ridiculous or even doing mime. And these are supposed to replace actual reasoned exchanges, meetings in person, writing letters and (for all I know) semaphore and Morse code.

God is always consistent, assuring us that the catastrophe is final and unspeakably vile. Agony & grief, fear & horror —— forever and ever, pain beyond words, over and over again. God wants us to spread the Good News but are these new platforms an appropriate place to do that? Any pending resolution would address that question. Comments appreciated.

As the Bible tells us, God is more than delighted to use evil for doing good if He so chooses. Therefore it matters not in the slightest whether He uses social media as His vehicle or sends a handsome sexual deviant to murder and cannibalize homosexuals, as in the case of Brother Dahmer. We must be careful to distinguish His means from His ends.

A beautiful resolution, Brother Dnow.

You brought to my mind an old saying, "Give a man a fish and he can eat for a day. Teach a man to fish and he can eat for a lifetime." If we give food or housing to the poor they are left without a way to improve their lot in life. Instead of such wasteful gifts, we must give them Bibles. Reading God's words will help them realize they must help themselves.
