Re: Republican Platform ideas 2022 -

In order to preserve freedom, not only do libraries have a part to play – but bookshops too. How often would an aspiring communist, unable to get one on loan, simply go and order a copy (of whatever it was) at a shop? Communistic systems force everyone to read the most awful drivel and were oppressive to the point of insanity. Once they threw off the shackles of their Politburo and Supreme Commie overlords, however, such former snake pits prospered and now enjoy freedom. For us it's the other way. Starting off free, communism under various aliases wants to creep in and take that freedom away.
By having all bookshops provided by appropriate government agencies, rather than having to monitor what was in school libraries (or any other library) the simpler solution becomes available: control over what books can be bought in the first place. In this way, not only would freedom be guaranteed but a more complete understanding of what freedom actually is can be assured.

Sister, I just don't like the idea that such a book can be produced in the first place. Allowing a book to be sold means any fool with a dollar gets a say whether the book becomes popular. These decisions need to be taken more seriously at a higher level by a certified board.

So a literature panel? (Suitable agents would staff any bookshops, I meant to include.) Or were you thinking the books should simply be delivered to those required to read them?
Thank you.

A panel sounds good, or panel of panels. At grassroots level, a school board that reports to a supervisory county council, then a State commission would handle executive duties of the cabinet task force appointed by the governor. At national level we would administrate via the Bureau of Book Licensing that follows guidance from the Chamber of Scholastic Compliance under the Tsar of Academic Integrity. This is just the bare bones - I've probably missed a couple of layers. The important thing is to get the parents riled up so we can sweep in with emergency legislation. And protect the children of course.

Amend the Constitution to allow sitting Presidents to declare a Presidency for Life, assume emergency powers, and rule by decree in times of crisis.

That is a very interesting Platform idea. My question relates to the final clause: How are crises determined and how would the duration of any crisis be decided?

A problem has come up we need to deal with in our Republican Platform. Senator Josh Holly, Republican, Missouri has suggested a solution we should consider.
The problem is our use of the term, "prolife." Prolife would be fine were it not for the number of women who die giving birth. I would be the first to agree God put women on this earth to produce children. Whatever the risk of death does not change this. But, the problem of using the term "prolife" is still there because there are some of these deaths in childbirth. Most women do not die but they still complain about using "prolife."
Senator Holly says Republicans should start using the term "pro baby." This cleverly diverts attention from the deaths of women in childbirth. "Pro baby" could be very successful and would help reverse losses that are happening since our Godly Supreme Court dumped Roe v Wade. Lets give this consideration.

From a medical perspective, there is a 50% chance that the baby will be a boy and 50% that it will be a girl. Worst case scenario, the mother dies and is replaced by a girl - break even. On the other hand, there's a 50% chance of a fresh young soldier for Christ. Basically there's no risk in forcing allowing the mother to come to term whether she survives or not. I'm pro-baby.

Another important aspect affecting all our lives is the ever-expanding influence of idolators. To merely consider the ballooning influence of crackpots is not enough – here I'm thinking of yoga nuts, crystal freaks, energy zealots, Tarot fiends among whom the archfiend himself is invariably represented by one of those "round" idols.
Often stinking incense will be burning, there may be little bells, flowers offered on what amounts to an altar, and they do their yoga, read their Tarot cards, guard their secret crystal which none may touch (it short circuits the energies) having no shame whatsoever. Worse, they recommend their impieties to others in quite an insidious way.
A pope wears a nice hat. “I like a nice hat! I think I'll worship the pope.”
Or again, a moon junkie makes excellent carpets. “Yes, I've been looking for a nice carpet! Now I'll worship the moon.”
And so on. The same applies to Platform ideas. Someone may come up with a theme we all agree on: Arson (setting fire to things that don't belong to you) should be illegal and the law should be enforced. Great. Everyone agrees with that, perhaps other than death metal goth lunatics, and the platform is adopted. But the proposer is an idolator. It doesn't matter which type, what happens next is the salient feature: from the common ground more and more the wishes of the archfiend get rolled out.
How to deal with this? Drop little words into your conversation, see how your prospect reacts. “Oh, hello! What a lovely day, the yellow sun, how blue the sky - energy - are you keeping well? The family?” Or perhaps you're walking in the mall: stop momentarily to look in a window: “Lovely armchairs, I've been looking - oh, that's a nice set (of Tarot cards) - for some new chairs.” Even the most diabolical agenda will have something acceptable to kick off with and that's what's happening now. All the time. Everywhere.
Only by prohibiting idols, to manufacture, import, nail on walls in so-called places of worship, the whole gamut, can this be addressed. And as a side benefit, from their responses we'll soon find out who the idolators really are.

I am not saying this is a bad idea, but I'm a bit worried that loony liberals may take this as an opportunity to call their side "pro mother."

Good point, Sister Bass. Leftists are pro liberal harlot women's libbers. But you can bet they will be tricky and try something like "pro mother."

Voters in Ohio yesterday showed why it is more important than ever to ban abortion at the federal level. Abortion is now enshrined in the constitutions of 24 states - going in precisely the wrong direction. What is the point of juicing the Supreme Court if we aren't going to use it?! We need to get out the message that all this nonsense will STOP after President Trump puts his Project 2025 initiative into action.
We also need a new Amendment, the "right to do whatever as President" if you are President and your surname is Trump. The separation of powers makes us look weak compared to the powerhouses of Saudi Arabia and North Korea.

Discernment is needed in the Republican platform. When we have a great President, for example Donald Trump, things need to happen big and fast. Satan won the abortion rights thing in Ohio. This morning we need a President who declares the results null and void. Crooked voting machines might be the reason Satan won. When we have the right person the power needs to be there.

Yes; yes, indeed, dear Brother Mayor Hold. Those crooked voting machines are a huge problem. Why, we've seen how they were used to alter the results in the 2020 election, with our dear President Trump having had his votes stolen by Not-my-President Sleepy Joe Burden. And, here we are, in 2023, and more of this nonsense is still going on.
But, rest assured, getting to the bottom of the illegal way that the voting machines work will be achieved. It might take a bit of time, but I have full confidence in the abilities of the ever-charming Mr. Mike Lindell! Have no fear, Dear; victory is full-steam ahead!

The problem with Democrats flooding the media with fake charges and popcorn about trans bathrooms is that we don't get to debate the real issues any more. Mr. Trump is seizing back the narrative with a policy statement on, uh, stuff we should focus about on these specific issues for the greatness of us and all our great nation. Pray for them, and us - amazing. Oh oh secret plan! It's a secret, you see.

You know, as I've started watching the candidates jockey for position in the primary, it's begun to feel more important than ever that we tighten up the laws on "Golden Showers" and activities involving prostitutes. Presidential candidates should not have to keep defending themselves against pee-tape allegations. It's almost 10 years since rumors of Donald Trump hiring prostitutes to perform a "Golden Shower", 8 years since he paid a sex worker for her silence, and more than 20 years since he raped a woman in a changing room, not to mention never-ending speculation about his ownership of Miss Teen USA contest, friendship with Jeff Epstein, 26 women who have accused President Donald Trump of sexual misconduct since the 1970s, etc. etc.
It's too much. We need to move the debate forward onto fake universities, solicitation of foreign interference, lying to the IRS about property valuations, handling of secret documents, conspiring to defraud the United States, conspiracy to obstruct official proceedings, racketeering and so on. We can't limit the debate of national issues to prostitutes, extramarital sex and urination. Shame on the Democrats - the Presidency is so much more than that.
