Yet another trend has spread across Twitter, gaining mass Internet attention. This new trend however, could send thousands of souls into Hell. After Rush Limbaugh threw his support behind the Lord's Resistance army, liberal social media networks caught fire with the trend "Stop Kony."

In his most recent speech, radio show host and conservative icon Rush Limbaugh vocalized his support for Joseph Kony and the Lord's Resistance Army (LRA).

However, Kony has falsely been indicted by the International Criminals Court with charges that include, murder, torture, child enslavement, rape, mutilation, and abduction.


Since 1987, Kony has abducted children and forced them to become members of his Christian group. Young boys are made into Bible believing Gun Man©, forced to kill sinners like the Bible demands and young girls are purchased to be sex slaves.

Invisible Children is a Liberal Pro Abortion-organization that has dedicated itself to bringing awareness to Kony's actions. The film campaign titled KONY 2012 was launched by the organization to "raise support for his arrest and set a precedent for international justice."


"The dream would be for Kony to be captured, not killed, and brought to the International Criminal Court to face trial," filmmaker and demoncrat Jason Russell stated. "The world would know about his crimes and they would watch the trial play out on an international level, seeing a man face justice who got away with abducting children, raping little girls, and mutilating people's faces for 26 years."


In October, President Obama ordered the deployment of several Special Forces in Uganda, South Sudan, CAR and other African nations to kill Kony and his top officials in cold blood. Increased efforts to promote the documentary and spread Kony's name have begun in order to keep military support in Africa.
So far the film has received nearly two million views on YouTube and has been shared nearly four million times on Facebook. "KONY" has also become multiple different trends on Twitter. The organization has named April 20, 2012 as a day for global action.

People complain that he "kidnaps" unsaved children and turns them into Christian soldiers, these people claims that the children doesn't want to be Christian soldiers, but if that really was true, why dont they shoot him? Their campaign of terror began in northern Uganda more than 20 years ago when they said they were fighting for a biblical state and the rights of the Acholi people. It now operates primarily in neighbouring states.

The group is notorious for kidnapping children, forcing the boys to become fighters and using girls as sex slaves.

UNITED NATIONS - The UN Security Council Tuesday "strongly condemned" the ongoing attacks and acts of violence of Uganda's Christian extremist rebel group Lord's Resistance Army (LRA) in the Great Lakes region of Africa.

"The (15) members of the Security Council strongly condemned the continued and recently increasing attacks carried out by the Lord's Resistance Army (LRA) in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Central African Republic and Sudan," it said.

The attacks "have resulted in the death, abduction and displacement of thousands of civilians," said Austrian Ambassador Thomas Mayr-Harting, who this month holds the council's rotating presidency.

He said the council praised the "increased cooperation" of regional governments in dealing with the "serious threat posed by the LRA," and encouraged them to cooperate fully with the United nations to ensure the protection of civilians in the area.

The council called on UN missions in the region "to coordinate strategies for, and information on, the protection of civilians, in light of the attacks by the LRA."

The UN missions include MONUC (UN Mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo), UNMIS (in the Sudan), MINURCAT (in the Central African Republic and Chad, UNAMID (African Union-United Nations Hybrid Operation in Darfur) and BONUCA (United Nations Peace-building Office in the Central African Republic).

The LRA guerrilla group, whose chief Joseph Kony is wanted by the International Criminal Court, first appeared in northern Uganga in 1988 and has since expanded into the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Central African Republic (CAR) and south Sudan.

Earlier this year in south Sudan, LRA men attacked several food aid distribution stations, killed hundreds of civilians and kidnapped children for use as soldiers, forcing thousands of people into Western Equatoria.

And two incidents, possibly involving Kony's men, have been reported in recent weeks in the south's Bahr al-Ghazal region, which is wedged between the CAR and the Darfur region of western Sudan, sparking rumours the LRA is moving into Darfur.

The extremist group was founded by a former Catholic altar boy from northern Uganda, who uses biblical references to explain why it is necessary to kill people.

His Christian extremist group is notorious for abducting thousands of children, forcing them to become either soldiers for his radical views or sex slaves.

The LRA rebels say they are fighting for the establishment of a government based on the biblical Ten Commandments.

He is described as a self-styled prophet who believes in Jesus, son of God.

One of Kony’s aides, Moses, was quoted as saying: “Kony is a messenger from God! We follow the commands of the Holy Spirit!”

Moses continues to explain Kony’s reasoning: “If someone has done something bad to you, you have to kill them!”

“Go and read in Matthew, chapter what and what, it is stated that if your right hand causes trouble, cut if off! It is there in the Bible!”

“He taught us how to pray,” one of Kony’s wives said. He had named was of his sons George Bush. And like the former US president, he also claims to receive personal visions from God.

In an interview with Vincent Otti, who was LRA second in command at the time, the Christian fanatic was asked about the group's name and its ideal system of government.

Otti's response was: "Lord’s Resistance Army is just the name of the movement, because we are fighting in the name of God. God is the one helping us in the bush. That’s why we created this name, Lord’s Resistance Army. And people always ask us, are we fighting for the [biblical] Ten Commandments of God. That is true – because the Ten Commandments of God is the constitution that God has given to the people of the world."

Kony uses passages from the Pentateuch to justify mutilation and murder.

LRA fighters achieved notoriety by turning on the Acholis they claimed to represent, hacking off lips, ears and noses, killing thousands and abducting more than 20,000 civilians, mostly children.

The children who have been abducted were often forced to kill their own parents so they have no way back.

People who were abducted into Kony's forces and later escaped describe him as a crazed religious leader.

Human Rights Watch had previously accused the mainly Christian regional government of southern Sudan of ignoring an International Criminal Court’s warrants for the arrest of four top Ugandan rebel leaders.

In one occasion, Kony, who was in southern Sudan, had even met the Christian region's Vice-President, Riek Machar.

Kony had asked the government of southern Sudan to facilitate talks between him and President Museveni of Uganda.

The LRA has killed more people than many other terrorist groups, yet few Americans or Europeans have ever heard of it.

His upbringing before he became the Christian he is today is quite heartbreaking, i think that many people here shares a simular background

Kony was born c. 1961 in Odek, a village east of Gulu in northern Uganda. He is a member of the Acholi people. The son of farmers, he enjoyed a good relationship with his siblings, but was quick to retaliate in a dispute, and when confronted he would often resort to physical violence. His father was a lay catechist of the Catholic Church and his mother was an Anglican. Kony was an altar boy for several years, but he stopped attending church around the age of 15.

As a teenager Kony apprenticed as the village witch doctor under his older brother, Jamie Brow, and when his older brother died, Kony took over the position. He did not graduate from high school.

A Catholic aid organization operating in the Democratic Republic of Congo and the country's government have accused Uganda-based rebels of massacring 400 civilians during Christmas celebrations last week.

The United Nations peacekeeping force in Congo put the death toll at 189 and said the Lord's Resistance Army rebels also abducted 20 children.

Caritas International expressed its "shock" at the killing spree in northeastern Congo, blaming the rebels for attacking a Christmas day concert sponsored by the Catholic church in the town of Faradje. LRA rebels also burned down a church in another village, it said.

"The areas have been plundered, leaving the people in desperate need of aid," the organization said in a news release issued on Monday. "Caritas says that the number of dead bodies risk spreading disease."

Several Congolese officials and two Catholic priests were among those killed in Faradje, according to the U.N. peacekeeping mission in Congo, known by its French acronym MONUC.

The rebels torched 120 homes in Faradje, and looted the rest of the village -- forcing its 30,000 residents to flee to neighboring towns -- according to the U.N., citing humanitarian workers in the region.

Congo's Communications Minister Lambert Mende Omalanga told CNN that the attacks happened as the rebels were fleeing Congolese army forces and victims were "mostly women, children and old men -- those who could not run and escape."

Congo's army, along with Ugandan and Sudanese forces, launched a raid against LRA rebels earlier this month. It came amid stalled peace negotiations intended to disarm LRA leader Joseph Kony and end a rebellion that began in Uganda over two decades ago when President Yoweri Museveni came to power.

The LRA, led by Kony, who claims to have spiritual powers, sought to overthrow Uganda's government, demanding the constitution be replaced with a version of the Ten Commandments.

The Ugandan government and the rebels agreed to a cessation of hostilities in August 2006, but there have been outbursts of fighting since.

The LRA, which the U.S. State Department describes as "vicious and cult-like," is known for its unpredictable behavior.

Local villagers and international human rights groups have accused the rebels of committing widespread abuses, including recruiting young boys and girls as soldiers and sex slaves.

In October 2005, the International Criminal Court unsealed arrest warrants for five LRA commanders, including Kony, who is alleged to have "ordered LRA forces to begin a campaign of attacks against civilians in Uganda" in 2002, according to the court.

THE co-founder of Invisible Children, the charity behind the viral campaign KONY 2012, has been arrested for alleged drunkeness and masturbating in public.

Police in San Diego said the 33-year-old film-maker was allegedly found vandalising cars in the city, and was possibly under the influence.
TMZ reported that Russell had been hospitalised and being held for up to three days for psychiatric assessment.
Lieutenant Andra Brown told NBC news that Mr Russell had been acting very strangely.
The CEO of Invisible Children, Ben Keesey, said in a statement: “Jason Russell was unfortunately hospitalized yesterday suffering from exhaustion, dehydration, and malnutrition. He is now receiving medical care and is focused on getting better.
"The past two weeks have taken a severe emotional toll on all of us, Jason especially, and that toll manifested itself in an unfortunate incident yesterday.

"Jason’s passion and his work have done so much to help so many, and we are devastated to see him dealing with this personal health issue. We will always love and support Jason, and we ask that you give his entire family privacy during this difficult time.”

Invisible Children has come under fire for its campaign, which seeks to bring Joseph Kony, the Ugandan leader of the violent Lord’s Resistance Army, to justice for crimes against humanity. Many have criticised the charity for how it spends its money.
In an official account of the $13.7 million it raised in the 2010/11 financial year, $8.8 million was allocated for expenses - including filming costs, transportation and production.

Russell, who is described on the Invisible Children website as "our grand storyteller and dreamer", began the Kony campaign after he travelling to Gulu, northern Uganda in 2003 and befriending a local boy, Jacob Acaye.
Jacob was one of the children hiding from Kony's brutal regime, a regime that claimed the life of his brother. Jacob watched him die
Russell co-founded Invisible Children as a not-for-profit organisation tasked with "advocacy and inspiring America's youth to 'do more than just watch'".
He describes himself as a radical, rebel soul and dream evangelist. In March last year, he revealed his inspirations to PMc Magazine: "If Oprah, Steven Spielberg and Bono had a baby, I would be that baby."
Russell's freedom fighter character further includes an attraction to pregnant women and a son whose actual middle name is Danger.

Unfortunately, liberal Americans will listen to anyone who says what they want to hear. This is a prime example.

Liberal belief: Christians are evil.

Story: Christian does things which, not understood in context, are considered "evil" because they run counter to modern secular humanist "values". Therefore, Christian is evil, like all Christians.

A similar case is that of Michael Daisy and his lies about conditions at the FoxConn factory in China (makes iPhones and such for Apple, among other things).

Liberal belief: Wealthy people are evil, therefore the largest company in the world must be extra-evil.

Story, as originally presented on NPR's "This American Life": Workers are forced to work up to 20 hours a day, becoming physically destroyed by their early 20s, and forced to live in cramped, stacked-drawer dormitories. Anyone who complains is fired and blacklisted for life.

Truth, as presented in today's formal retraction from NPR's "This American Life": Apple does not permit suppliers to force workers to work more than 60 hours a week, but the employees demand it -- they are away from family and living in a dormitory, and their reason for being there is to make money not to hang out in their dorm rooms. Daisy admits he never interviewed most of the people he described in his report -- only after the translator was located and interviewed, and denied nearly all of his story -- and that he is "an actor" who created the story (lied) for a theatrical production.

Mr Kony has every chance of being the person with whom the US can exploit the vast and recently discovered Ugandan oil reserves. No regime change is really necessary.

It is with the discovery of 6,000,000,000 barrels of oil reserves (http://online.wsj.com/article/BT-CO-...28-707926.html) that I say that the Lord's guidance is required. Never forget that the Lord is a Man of War! And who better to be God's Stewards than the mighty American Oil industry and a Christian?

Now, it is unlike America to interfere where there is oil, or to be other than pleased about another countries good fortune; we like to think selflessly of the hope this can bring to the starving masses. But we do not want these incalculably valuable reserves to be squandered, and them jigs need a bit of help, and who better to give it than private industry, who will ensure that the money gets into the right hands.

(After 4 or 5 years of inspired leadership of Uganda, Kony never had anything bad to say about the US and the US always agreed that there was no cause for any concern. However, in the light of recent discoveries, I am not surprised that Obama suddenly wants to get our boys tied up in a war against the wrong enemy in Uganda and lay his grubby paws on this oil so as he can hand it directly to his Moslem brothers.)
