Are you confusing "greet" with "pre-fornication oral sex" ???
Are you confusing "holy" and "hole-y" ???

Friend, God's instruction is explicit: Greet one another with an holy kiss. 2 Corinthians 13:12
It's a complete sentence...no room for misinterpretation. Those are God's words, not mine. They do not specify that the holy kiss is to be placed on the cheek. So the next time you greet your brethren in Christ, you best pucker up, lest you risk displeasing the Lord.

Let us set a major ground rule -- Unsaved Trash do not talk back to any Forum Member, and especially not to a True Christian™. EVER!
And for your information Brother Zachariah is one hundred percent correct. The kiss was on the cheek. You cannot lift a verse out of context from the culture in which the passage was written. Greeting kisses were always on the cheek, just as when swearing oaths of loyalty one placed their hand between the other man's thighs. A little more study and a little less lip might serve you better.

A kiss on a very clean forehead is all that is ever needed. Any more and you might as well be having sex.
I still do not understand what is wrong with a firm handshake while you look a person square in the eye.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

Normally I would agree with you wholeheartedly. But who are we to question Baby Jesus' Holy Words? If he requires a greeting kiss (i.e. on the cheek) then I tend to kind of think we should obey. I'll look and see if Jesus says anything about a firm handshake, but off the top of my head, I don't remember anything.
Perhaps, and I am going out on a limb here, Jesus understands that no True Christian™ would ever get impure thoughts from a greeting kiss. And the passage was about True Christians™ meeting other True Christians™.

I fail to see why anyone should kiss even after they get married. It isn't needed for the horrible act of making children and that is about the only physical contact a good marriage ever requires.

I do apologize for stepping out of line. I only wanted to express God's word as it was written. I was in error by allowing my wife to influence my posting. I will punish her properly. Thank you for your caring correction. How are we to interpret 1 Thessalonians 5:26? Greet all the brethren with an holy kiss.

We are not to interpret either I Thessalonians or any other passage of God's Holy Word.
II PETER 1
16 For wee haue not followed cunningly deuised fables, when wee made knowen vnto you the power and comming of our Lord Iesus Christ, but were eye witnesses of his Maiestie.
17 For hee receiued from God the Father, honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloued Sonne in whom I am well pleased.
18 And this voice which came from heauen wee heard, when we were with him in the holy mount.
19 We haue also a more sure word of prophecie, whereunto yee doe well that ye take heede, as vnto a light that shineth in a darke place, vntill the day dawne, and the day starre arise in your hearts:
20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the Scripture is of any priuate Interpretation:
21 For the prophecie came not in olde time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moued by the holy Ghost.
©1611
Note particularly verse21 - this is the exact process by which we have The New Testament and so we know that it is not to be subjected to interpretation either.

Hand holding and kissing are not sins. Premarital sex is. Lustful thought are also. What next will this church say is a sin? Showing arms?

Pre-marital hand-holding and kissing is nothing but perverted lust. If you were a Christian, you'd know that.

I am a Christian but I see no need to have people wear barrels or not ever kiss or hold hands. I'm surprised you don't wear barrels.

The Holy Bible does not direct us to wear barrels. It does however direct us to act modestly and refrain from lust and degeneracy.

Barrels?
Look, friend, it's becoming painfully obvious that what you think of as God is a cipher for your own thoughts and opinions that you're then justifying by applying the veneer of your imaginary God. Your supposed God has as much to do with the actual God Jesus described as any other secular nonsense.
You may as well be an atheist and stop pretending.

Amen, Brother.
Every Real Man knows that kissing and foreplay was invented by feminazi lesbos as a way to curb the birthrate, a form of preemptive human sacrifice, and to emasculate men by depriving them of initiative in the bridal chamber. If they can train you to kiss a woman, putting off fulfillment of the manly function of insemination, they have succeeded in fagifying you.

Ditto.
Kissing, intimacy, sexual innuendos, subtle eroticism, tender foreplay, etc... are for homers; real men procreate; real men can only get excited about Chuck Norris. But hey, not in a homosexural way at all!
