Thank you for the complement Lisa but I feel that Pasterfarian Skank was already being respectful towards me.

Do you mean that the semi-literate little twerp is always having a go at others for typos? That wouldn't surprise me. I have taken that she is a hypocrite for granted. Mind you, we should be careful not to attribute hypocricsy where the behavior concerned might be explained by stupidity.

Where have I been hypocritical? I'm not the one criticizing others' spelling while allowing a retarded monkey to post on my behalf.

Dear Pastafarian Skank;
I shall take your corrections under advisement. Upon my location of a stylebook, I shall consult the same forthwith and determine in which way that I may improve upon my impoverished prose.
There seems to be a bit of a hint that I am some way not the virtuous woman that I espouse myself to be. Over this accusation, I must take umbrage.
You could search the far and wide of the whole world and not find anyone with whom the Handmaiden has been dallied.
I am so pure that little woodland animals follow me about singing cheerful tunes.
I am also brilliant, well educated, honest, Bible literate and humble.
This, of course, doesn't mean that I could possibly measure for glamour, greatness or desirablity with a bona fide skank who slurps the noodly appendage of any male so encountered.
Fortunately for me, Jesus loves me even if I am not as remarkable as yourself.
Contentedly His,
Handmaiden
His left hand should be under my head, and his right hand should embrace me.

I must say that I'm disappointed with Landover. Too liberal. (Clever use of sentence fragment, eh?)
I came here in need of spiritual nourishment and some good old-fashioned hell and damnation type preachments (deliberate).
Back in the good old days, One-Eyed-Jack would have gently and kindly gotten me by the scruff of the neck and made it plain that my slovenly behaviour was leading me ineluctably to the deepest pits of hell where there is weeping and wailing and gnashing of teeth – unimaginable torment.
Now it is all a dumb bunch of illiterates and “you have been rude to a TC, apologise immediately or we will infract you.” (How the once proud forum has fallen.)
I understand that what the Administrators look for in potential new TCs are signs of intelligence and literacy. Any hint of either and you’re out.
It appears the current bunch have been hand-picked by Zekie boy for having intellects of the same order as his own.

Yes, we can all improve, and consulting a style book from time to time is well worth the effort.
Be careful with vocabulary too.

I said that picking on typos was "not cricket". That is hardly criticizing others' spelling.
I said that I assumed her unnecessary capital after a semi-colon was a typo, but that her capitalizing “Yours” in the likes of “Sincerely yours,” was not a typo but a solecism she could cease and desist from.
I am not infallible, either. If she, or anyone else, can find a style-book that contradicts me, I shall tender and immediate apology.
It is a minor point, to be sure, but still an interesting one that we all may benefit from having cleared up. I am not a grammar pedant at all (there is a deliberate ending of a sentence with a preposition in my post) but sometimes it is worth knowing some of these points if only so as to be able to placate the pedants (when it is politic to do so).

No, not unless you criticize others for doing the same.
This is like talking to an intellectually slow two-year-old.
You also said you were not criticizing others' spelling, when that is exactly what you had just done. I didn't say that was hypocrisy -- it's just a stupid contradiction.

I see you've learned about quoting techniques from the Liebral Lamestream Media, claiming people say things they did not by editing out half of their words. Obama says, "I love children, slow roasted with cranberry sauce." Media reports, "Today, President Obama said, 'I love children.'"
I said I wasn't criticizing others' spelling while allowing a retarded monkey to bang away at my keyboard. I assumed you were doing the latter along with doing the former, since only a hypocrite would criticize someone else's spelling while filling her posts with heaps of misspelled words.
Are you saying that you were not allowing a retarded monkey to bang away at your keyboard, and instead were criticizing others' spelling while not bothering to review your own posts for accuracy?
