God created the earth in six days, and on the seventh day, He rested. He established the Sabbath - one day of the week as a perpetual covenant for His children, that we may refrain from work and spend that day in rest and worship.

Genesis 2:1-3
Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them. And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.
And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.

Exodus 20:11
For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

God assigns each of us to our place in the social hierarchy, and it is the duty of men to serve as God's instruments here on earth - to reshape the world in the fashion of the Kingdom of God, and to become a part of the continuing process of His creation.

Such a hierarchical stratification of society is the key underpinning of the Free Enterprise System which, along with our Christian heritage, makes this country great. Workers generate the wealth, and captains of industry manage the wealth and allow a discretionary portion to trickle down to even the lowliest dredges of society. The more and harder the workers labor, the more wealth their betters are able to let trickle down.

II Thessalonians 3:10-12
For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat. For we hear that there are some which walk among you disorderly, working not at all, but are busybodies.
Now them that are such we command and exhort by our Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread.

However, the working classes have continually shown a lack of gratitude for being allowed to participate in and receive an allowance from such a dynamic economic system; and in the 20th century, labor unions began demanding entitlements such as limiting the standard work day to 8 hours, receiving paid vacation leave, paid holidays, health insurance, and pensions. This is nothing less than pure unbridled socialism!

An honest day's wages for an honest day's work was not enough for these American Bolsheviks, and neither were the concessions that had already been made. They soon began demanding a 5-day work week! Where these bums got this notion that God created the Earth in 5 days and rested on the sixth and seventh days is beyond me, but if God wanted us to only work 5 days out of the week, He would have indicated this to us in the Bible.

Brothers and Sisters in Christ, nothing good comes from the working classes getting Saturdays as a day off. It just allows shiftless minority types to laze about and fornicate. It does nothing to bring glory to God's Kingdom, it costs Godly corporations billions of dollars each year in lost potential production, and it has no basis in Scripture.

With the arrival of a new crop of Tea Party legislators arriving in Washington next year, we can make this happen. We can bring back the 6-day work week and bring the Sabbath even more glory as the one day of the week laborers get off, so they can spend the day in worship. It's no secret that liberals have no work ethic. Lazy, dirty hippies like a rock and roll group called "The Beatles" actually tried to convince people that there were eight days in a week, so taking two days off wouldn't seem so egregious.

I will be glad when the liberals begin to commit suicide after the election results come in. I would not be surprised if Barack HUSSEIN Obama resigned in disgrace, before beginning his downward slide into homelessness, alcoholism, and drug abuse.

God works 6 then says nap time??

Not only that but he has only worked 6 days during his ENTIRE LIFE.

The only people I know who work that little are the filthy hippy creatures and filthier mexicans.

The work I do is what I get payed to do by another person. Like sorting mail in the post office in the morning, serving food at lunch for 1 company then working as a waiter in a restaurant at night.

I can not tell the trolls apart from the serious people because I know there are a lot of people who actually believe a lot of this stuff.
