Quality beef and pastries are equally inportant in a True Christian™ man's diet. I know Mrs. Porter is doing her job when I have a rare filet mignon, a baked potato and some peach pie. And I reward her when it is especially outstanding.
The point here is Christian food. None of that slop from Iberiastan.

Oh my... I... I am speechless
I’ll need to pray really, really hard to get this mental image out of my head. I’m just a mortal man after all; don’t do that me, Maria.

Dear, I did't mean you, ofcourse it's easy to bake and clean if you now how to, but if you haven't done it before... well then it must be hard.

The trick is to start by learning to cook a few things well. If you dive into trying to master too many recipes, you'll just get confused.
It takes time to work through learning to cook many different dishes, which is why girls should be started in the kitchen as early as possible!
Now, your husband may be disappointed that you only know how to make 4 or 5 things, but if you make them well, invite another couple over as often as you can. Then you'll be invited over to their house for dinner, which will give your husband some variety as you keep up with learning new things.
Most important: Whenever you eat something good, do whatever you have to to get the recipe. Don't go experimenting. Pursue what you know to be good.
Also, buy this. Then you can serve fruit and nuts and a charred pidgeon or something when you burn a caserole.
.
Here is an easy pie recipe for you to start with: NO BAKING!

Strawberry Cream Cheese Pie
1 8 oz. package cream cheese
1 cup (or less) powdered sugar
1/2 pint heavy whipping cream
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tsp. almond extract
1 pre-baked pie crust (regular or graham cracker)
1 pint strawberries (other berries may be used instead)
Blend softened, room-temperature cream cheese with sugar.
In another bowl, whip cream with vanilla and almond extracts.
Fold cream cheese mixture into whipped cream, and put mixture into pie shell.
Put fruit on top and refrigerate for a few hours.

Note: This is very sweet. Experiment with using less sugar, if that's to your household's taste.
PS: With a few blueberries scattered on top of the strawberries, this makes a very patriotic-looking dessert for 4th of
July, etc.

Thank you to everyone for all the helpful advice, and thank you Mistress Cookie for the wonderful (and easy to start with) pie recipe.
I thank GOD that I know such wonderful and loving people here!
Matthew 9:12-13
(12) But when Jesus heard [that], he said unto them, They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick.
(13) But go ye and learn what [that] meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

Dear Child, if you will post a picture of your strawberry pie venture, I will post some more good recipies.
Good luck. Buy enough ingredients to make 2, just in case one...fails you.

Cooking classes are often taught by queers.
Didn't your mother teach you to cook? What's wrong with her?
Here is a partial list from just a few scripture verses:
Hypocrites (Matthew 24:51), The Unforgiving (Mark 11:26), Homosexuals (Romans 1:26, 27), Fornicators (Romans 1:29), The Wicked (Romans 1:29), The Covetous (Romans 1:29), The Malicious (Romans 1:29), The Envious (Romans 1:29), Murderers (Romans 1:29), The Deceitful (Romans 1:29), Backbiters (Romans 1:30), Haters of God (Romans 1:30), The Despiteful (Romans 1:30), The Proud (Romans 1:30), Boasters (Romans 1:30), Inventors of evil (Romans 1:30), Disobedient to parents (Romans 1:30), Covenant breakers (Romans 1:31), The Unmerciful (Romans 1:31), The Implacable (Romans 1:31), The Unrighteous (1Corinthians 6:9), Idolaters (1Corinthians 6:9), Adulterers (1Corinthians 6:9), The Effeminate (1Corinthians 6:9), Thieves (1Corinthians 6:10), Drunkards (1Corinthians 6:10), Reviler (1Corinthians 6:10), Extortioners (1Corinthians 6:10), The Fearful (Revelation 21:8), The Unbelieving (Revelation 21:8), The Abominable (Revelation 21:8), Whoremongers (Revelation 21:8), Sorcerers (Revelation 21:8), All Liars (Revelation 21:8)

My mother's a liberal feminazi who worked outside the home and divorced my drunk father.
The only person in my family with True Christian™, Baptist, Republican morals is my 2nd cousin's wife, and hardly anyone in the rest of my family has any contact with her or even likes her. Unfortunately, do to some horrid jokes that I've said in the past about her (during my pre-repentance days), she refuses to talk to me or accept any messages from me.

Don't let that keep you from buying strawberries, today. She's taken enough from you.
Where's pics of that pie?

The pie came out pretty good!

This looks excellent! I am impressed you chose to bake your own crust!
Very very good.
What did your father say? Was it a success?
If he liked it, make the pie again, so you really get a feel for how it goes together. (You might also ask him if he would prefer blueberries, peaches, blackberries, or what-all-else instead of strawberries.) I will post another no-bake pie recipe tomorrow, and you will be building up your recipe stash.
Congratulations! This looks like a very fine start, indeed.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
(Now that you are an experienced pie-woman, I shall ask you, as one confectioner to another...Do you think that recipe is too sweet? Or just right the way it is?) (This is not a trick question. We must all band together to be on the lookout for improving our recipes.)

well, it's downright good to hear that yous thinking about bettering yourself, Sister Kristin! education never stops, ya cotton? i once signed up for a cooking class my own self down at the Defeated Tennessee Community Adult Learning Annex? well, them eggheads kicked me out of the class cause i kept bringin in my own meats. they kept sayin it was unsanitary to bring in decaying roadkill? well, nuts to that, I didn't even get them dead animals from the road anyhow!
Genesis 1:24
And God said, "Let the land produce living creatures according to their kinds: livestock, creatures that move along the ground, and wild animals, each according to its kind: and it was so."

take a class!! the televisions Ive heard from my neighbour broadcast all sorts of homo-erotic and foreign blasphemy, and this extends to the cooking shows. we dont own a tele-vision but one family in our town does and everyone reckons they are closet muslims one show called jamie oliver is done by a man!!!!! this seems to be challenging the Holy Bible's view on gender roles and on the husbands authority. classes will be safer i would assume.
