Examples of bad parenting -
01-10-2009, 12:08 AM
This is a thread for collecting examples of how parenting has gone downhill, thanks to the Hussien Administration.
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090106/.../young_shooter
JACKSON, Ohio – Police say an angry 4-year-old Ohio boy grabbed a gun from a closet and shot his baby sitter.
Eighteen-year-old Nathan Beavers was hospitalized Sunday with minor wounds to his arm and side after the shotgun attack. Police say another teen was also injured.
Witnesses told police the child was angry because Beavers accidentally stepped on his foot. Beavers was watching the child at a mobile home in Jackson with several other teenagers and several other children.
Jackson County Sheriff John Shashteen says authorities are investigating. The child has not been charged.
I know it's obvious, but I'll say it again: the kid fired a shotgun at point-blank range and only caused minor injuries? What if that babysitter had been a catholic coming to molest him? That kid would now be an AIDS-infected recent recruit to homosexuality, that's what would happen.
Parents, teach your toddlers how to shoot properly!

I've seen so many examples of bad parenting I wonder how the next generation is going to manage. Each generation seems to get exponentially worse.
May you be a blessing to every life you touch.

Trent, I know you didn't intend to post pornography, but that picture has the same effect. I dont know what arouses me more, the semi-nudity, or those luscious bruises.
Time to take a cold shower with Jesus.

That's... Horrible. How is that good in any way? Disgusting. I can't believe that you're even serious.... Sometimes I truly wonder if this site is a big satirical joke.

I don't know much about Jean Paul Sartre's sense of humor, but we do not consider child disciplining to be funny. It is not to be administered in anything but a serious way.
Here is what the Bible says about child discipline, notice there is no "punchline" or laugh track: Prov 22:15: "Foolishness is bound in the heart of a child; but the rod of correction shall drive it far from him."
Beating children with a rod is not only not funny, it is a punishment for being funny.
Proverbs 23:13-14: Withhold not correction from the child: for if thou beatest him with the rod, he shall not die.
Thou shalt beat him with the rod, and shalt deliver his soul from hell.

Nathan Beavers parents aught to be ashamed for allowing their son to be a baby sitter. Baby sitting is clearly a womans job, were they deliberately trying to turn him into a homer?

They were probably trying to molest the 4 year old. I'll bet you dollars to donuts those 2 teenagers were papists.
Here is a partial list from just a few scripture verses:
Hypocrites (Matthew 24:51), The Unforgiving (Mark 11:26), Homosexuals (Romans 1:26, 27), Fornicators (Romans 1:29), The Wicked (Romans 1:29), The Covetous (Romans 1:29), The Malicious (Romans 1:29), The Envious (Romans 1:29), Murderers (Romans 1:29), The Deceitful (Romans 1:29), Backbiters (Romans 1:30), Haters of God (Romans 1:30), The Despiteful (Romans 1:30), The Proud (Romans 1:30), Boasters (Romans 1:30), Inventors of evil (Romans 1:30), Disobedient to parents (Romans 1:30), Covenant breakers (Romans 1:31), The Unmerciful (Romans 1:31), The Implacable (Romans 1:31), The Unrighteous (1Corinthians 6:9), Idolaters (1Corinthians 6:9), Adulterers (1Corinthians 6:9), The Effeminate (1Corinthians 6:9), Thieves (1Corinthians 6:10), Drunkards (1Corinthians 6:10), Reviler (1Corinthians 6:10), Extortioners (1Corinthians 6:10), The Fearful (Revelation 21:8), The Unbelieving (Revelation 21:8), The Abominable (Revelation 21:8), Whoremongers (Revelation 21:8), Sorcerers (Revelation 21:8), All Liars (Revelation 21:8)

More parents are going to be encouraged to shove their children thru the public school system since their home-school credits are going to be cut. Everyone knows that home-school kids perform better throughout college and are more successful. The 'school system' wants to be able to control them so that they can get more stimulus money.
May you be a blessing to every life you touch.

I would be suspicious of anyone with the name "Beavers". It's like the parents are deliberately trying to turn Nathan into a homer.

Good parents make their children confess and repent! Like this:
Praise Jesus!
Repent, the Kingdom of God is near & He only fires ONE warning shot! Consider LBC your warning!

Not actually bad parenting, but bad advertising here:
I know the wrongness is completely obvious to any True Chrsitian, but just so that the lurkers get it: he's not even looking down the sights!

He must be at extremely close quarters, brother. But that means there should be a spray of blood and hamburger flying all over the place! Are these people trying to sell me a toy gun or not?
Anyone who buys anything from this wimpy company deserves to get ripped off anyway. Maybe it was organized by holy angels to take money away from wimps.

I know as a Christian with aspirations of becoming a True Christian™, I have no sense of humor so I'm not sure why you think there is satire going on here. Try reading the KJV of the Bible. You wont find any jokes there, just God fearing lessons.

When I was a lad of 3, I played with a hand-me-down toy from my father (Pastor Lamentations Flint)'s toy collection.
When I was 4 he wised up and bought me a real gun.

I don't think there's anything wrong with giving a boy ages 3 and below a toy gun as practice is a bad idea, but after that it's time for a new one. A BB gun would be preferable for 3 and below.
