Recently I attempted a flour curry (it included other ingredients, some of which you probably don't eat so I'll respect the likely state of your digestion at this time of year
v.s.) and it came out rather like the dreaded gnocchi, a food invented by papists.
I'd included all the ingredients including star anise, cloves, white peppercorns, dried chilli, black peppercorns, indeterminate peppercorns (assorted) and some black cardamom – crushed fine together without using metal. The flour was coarse stone ground and selected onions (red, white and brown) were included. Also some ginger, turmeric and galangal. Into the stewpot (ceramic – I don't allow metal to come in contact with food) with about 3 or 4 cups of flour preprepared using mashed sweet potato and enough liquid to make a thick sauce; smelled great!
What happened was that the flour all clumped on the bottom. The liquid rose to the top. When I scraped it off it went into small clumps but wasn't burnt or anything, hence the gnocchi effect. Not too bad on the palate, rather chewy, so I wouldn't call it a failure. Is cooking one of your subjects? Perhaps you have a comment relating to flour curry?
We know that Christians can survive without food if necessary
John 6:33-35 KING JAMES BIBLE, AUTHORIZED VERSION
[Jesus speaking] The bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world. Then said they unto him, Lord, evermore give us this bread. And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.
but that doesn't mean we should disrespect God's creation by starving ourselves. In your reply, try to avoid references to "amrita," "soma" or "tantric yoga."
