Hello. As you know, I am new to these forums. I have been looking around and have see what you think of Atheists and other religions, and I do think that you are mistaken.

I would like to shed some light on Atheists, first of all - As I am an Atheist, and wish to tell you the truth about us.

So far I have seen people that are Atheists on this website banned, whilst they have been arguing their case. Please, I do not wish to be banned - I am only trying to show you that we are not bad people, and we are not God haters.

1. We do not hate God, we just do not think that he exists.

2. We are in no way used by Satan, we have made these choices on our own accord and we do not worship Satan. If we did that then we are not Atheists.

3. We are not as bad as you think. We are normal people, we do not go around damaging things or attacking Churches.

4. We have evidence for what we think due to Science, and you have evidence for what you believe from the Bible - Two very different things. The Bible is over 2000 years old, whereas Science has been around forever (Okay, not as advanced as it is now, but has always been there - Just not discovered).

5. We are not against any religion, but if there is something so blatently obvious and others are wrong I am afraid that we must usually try and correct you.

6. When you tell us that we are going to Hell, it's a pretty empty threat as we don't believe that Hell exists.

7. We do not take kindly to insult. And we do not take kindly to people bending the Bible to their own use and lying - we CAN tell when they are.

Now please, ask questions if you have them. I want you to come to an understanding about Athiests - These points are the only ones that come to my mind at the moment, but I shall add more as I remember them (I had a list of them in my head, I just can't remember them all).

Also - Please don't ban me. I have seen other Athiests on these Forums banned and I don't want to end up like them.

I live in a former communist country. Atheists are responsible for most mass murders in the 20th century. Millions and Millions of people died at the hand of atheists.

Not ALL Atheists do that - And anyway, that was in China, and the Fallon Gong people sound more like a cult than Atheists.

There are different segregations in Atheism - Such as in Christianity, and Islam.

In Christianty there are Catholics, Protestants, Russian Orthodox, and yourselves.

In Islam there are Shia muslims, Qubd muslims (Those are the only ones that are attacking us (That's what Osama Bin Laden is), and Sunni muslims.

In Atheism it is slightly different - There are Atheists that go around living a normal life - But there are those rare cults that are as you say, mass murderers. But you can say the same thing about the Klu Klux Klan (Chrisianity) and the Taliban (Islam). Every religion/way of life has a minority that give it a bad name.

Ah, actually I have just found out that Falun Gong is actually, in a way, a religion - And not an Atheist community.

We don't really have names for sects - We are all just under the general group of Atheism.

But I guess you could say that there are those who are "normal" Atheists, there are Athiests who have turned away from Religion, other Athiests that are, in a way, "Extremist" Athiests, who hate religion with all their soul.

We have never banned anyone for being an atheist. We ban people for being hateful, disrespectful, flaming us, posting obscenities, and so on.

God never changes, your secular science does constantly. Think about it; 100 years ago it was a "scientific fact" that Mankind couldn't fly. Yet now we fly all over the world as if it were nothing.

That's okay. Hell is full of surprised atheists like you. One day (soon) you will have to answer to Jesus on bended knee for your efforst at undermining His Divine Plan. Here at Landover Baptist Church, we follow the entire Bible word-for-word. We are probably the only church left that NEVER twists or ignores scripture because it's inconvenient or whatever. I'm going to tell you right here and now that True Christians™ know the Holy Bible inside out and backward, and we do not hold back in our rebukes of heathens like you. If you get your feelings hurt, well, too bad. We consider it the ultimate cruelty to hold back on what the Word of God has to say.

OK, well thank you first of all for correcting my mistake about banning Athiests - That was my mistake.

Claiming that monkeys don't exist is a different matter - For one, we can see monkeys, touch them, smell them, they are physically there. Whereas God, on the other hand, is not visible - You can not walk up to him and say "Hey, how you doing God?".

To worship Satan is to pledge your soul to him, and to pray to him. I do not pray to Satan and I have not pledged my soul to him. If I believe that God does not exist, then that means I do not believe that Satan exists.

And it was a Religous fact that Jesus was a Jew, yet you are not a Jew. Sure, nowadays we fly everywhere - But that was eventually corrected. We can not fly with just our bodies, but we can fly with machinery.

And Atheits do NOT want to destroy all religion - There are a few extremists who try to, but it is the same with all other religions - They all want to destroy and get rid of the other, lesser, faiths.

And, sure I may be going to hell - But I guess (I mean this in no offence at all) so are you, for Debating ( Ro 1:29).

See, I knew that was going to happen.

I am right, because I'm Athiest I was banned.

And don't say it's because of my age, because being 14 I can make my own choices, and I HIGHLY doubt I will start believing in God anytime soon.

All I wanted to do is show you that Athiests are not bad people. We are not a cult, we are not Satanists, and we are not out to get Religion.

And you say that you are not a cult? You have over 600 rules to live by - Sure, you say it's God's rules, but then it's God's cult.

And you say that to be a cult you have to be destructive, and you are not. Well, how about all those Crusades many years ago? How about the attacks on other religions you make?

Free will? If God knows everything that ever was, ever is, or ever has been, then there can be no free will, because he knows every decision you're going to make, and all the consequences. If he exists, then he knows what a person will do before he "creates" them. He technically aims people for "Hell" or "Heaven" before he even creates them.
