The only thing that can take your hearing is putting something extra loud to your ear. It's not Satan "ripping" your hearing away. If you lose your hearing to something very loud, that's on you, it's not the music's fault, it's not the loud thing's fault, it's yours and yours alone. Music isn't "the Devil's tool". That's not true. My cousin's neighbor's kid's math teacher went deaf in his 30's and it was because he let Satan into his heart. First it was through the Harry Potter series, then he started listening to some German pop band called Ramen-stein or something, and then he stopped going to church and came out as a Sodomite. That's not a coincidence, dear. That's Satan playing with his little chew-toy before the Sodomite gets tossed into the Lake of Fire for all eternity. That is exactly why I was asking, sweetie.

We know that everything evil that happens in the world is God's doing - I think this is the point which we both agree upon:

Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the Lord do all these things.

So I think we both agree that God gave her he disease. Now, the reasons why He did it could be different, hence my question. Maybe she did something to deserve this sort of punishment, maybe her parents or grandparents did something to deserve punishment:

Deuteronomy 5:9 Thou shalt not bow down thyself unto them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God [am] a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth [generation] of them that hate me,
Isaiah 14:21 Prepare slaughter for his children for the iniquity of their fathers; that they do not rise, nor possess the land, nor fill the face of the world with cities.

Or maybe the whole thing happened because God was bored and decided to play bets on human life with the Devil again, like He did with Job's fortune, health, and the lives of his family:

Book of Job is such an inspiring read. God let the Devil kill Job's family and make him sick, and yet Job prevailed. In the end, God cures Job, gives him even more wealth, and new and improved sons and daughters, so I'm sure he did not miss the ones God had killed. They were just a bunch of children.

Everybody encounters trials in their life. The Bible does not promise that the Christian life will be easy. It does not promise that we will never get sick or encounter difficult times. That is the prosperity gospel and it is a lie.
