Young lady, you would do well to follow the advice of dear Brother Pendergast. The wholeheartedly approves!

Yes, so called foot fetish is a type of idolatry, which is a sin.
3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.
5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;

Good observation, Sister Basilissa. We do find that some posters need to go elsewhere and improve before they can meet the demanding standards here at Landover Baptist.
Isaiah 24:1-3 Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty (2)...as the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him. (3) The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken his word.

Whenever the True Christians say things that I don't understand, I know it is because they are True Christians and I am not, so therefore they are much smarter than I am. Perhaps you should do the same!
Judge in yourselves: is it comely that a woman pray unto God uncovered?

I am not a Pentecostalist I Corinthians 14:22-23 and trust that in reporting the views of heretics their error is not imputed to me. On the other hand, it depends how far east you'd be willing to travel. From Stavanger twelve- or thirteen-hundred km brings you into some fairly exacting territory whereas double that (or a little more) in the same direction gets you a rather well done statue of Prometheus and some very stringent guidelines indeed. You could almost say hypercritical. The statue is shown below but clearly this is no Christian thing. For a start, Prometheus is not noted for sickles and Exodus 20:4 prohibits sculpture altogether.

Stravanger. She was not there. So I drived to the other east you mentioned. Came across the statue of Prometheus. Was not impressed indeed. What did he do but sculpture? No mention of Gaia, Zeus, Apollo or Athene. Drove to Pythia fterwards to ask there if they sa my wife. The only thing they said was: Know yourself. Do not long. Roses are red
So I am still trying to find my wife. If you have any other ideas where to look, please help me.
Yic,
Phil

And this was your problem. Had you read the beginning of Sister Mitza's post more carefully, you might have started out in the right place.
Of course, had you read it all the way through ...

Miss Joanna,
Any hint to find my wife, I will follow up. Especially when they say...probably not. Tose things confuse me. But, indeed my fault. She is a true christian after all. She would not speak in tongues. Like thos people from Pythia.

I'm not sure why this thread has resurfaced, and it seems to have taken a wrong turn some time ago, but I'd like to return to the original question and record my general dissent. I think that foot fetishism not only isn't a sin, but is actually required by the Bible, provided that the feet are shoed:
How beautiful are thy feet with shoes, O prince's daughter! the joints of thy thighs are like jewels, the work of the hands of a cunning workman. Song of Solomon 7:1
Of course, fetishising naked feet is a terrible sin.
Foot holding is also the Biblically correct way to greet Jesus:
And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail. And they came and held him by the feet, and worshipped him. Matthew 15:30
Please remember this when you meet Him on the Day of Judgment.
