Hi There, Everybody! -
07-12-2007, 05:35 PM
Hello, I'm Trent Harvey, Jr. I'm currently stationed with the Coalition Provisional Authority in Baghdad. Just found this website while I was surfing the 'net. It's really comforting to get a taste of home and the warm fellowship of Christians inbetween opening new schools, painting hospitals, and spreading democracy.
Thanx for the site!

Welcome Harvey! I think I speak for all us good Christians when we would like to thank you and the CPA, the real heroes of the Iraq War.
Time to reclaim our FREEDOM from the “Mullah in Chief” and his growing activist voter hoards of socialists, communists, anti-Semites, anti-Christians, atheists, radical gays and lesbians, feminists, illegal immigrants, Muslims, anti-Anglo whites and others.

Praise Jesus! It's great to welcome a big-boned robust brother to God's favorite forum. And the thanks should be sent your way, sir, for carrying out our Godly president's Holy mission to destroy the mudslime cult and spread Christianity among the unsaved, smelly towel-heads out there in the God-forsaken land of Iraquistan.
Within the boundaries of good Christian taste and DOF guidelines, I hope you'll regale us with tales of forced democracy from time-to-time. God Bless you, and may He always guide your well-nourished fingers.
Keep 'em flying!

Thank you, everyone, for your warm Christian hospitality. You know, being here in Iraq I often miss the fellowship of other Christians. Inbetween painting schools, building hospitals, training Iraqi security forces, ducking explosions, and dodging flying body parts, there isn't a whole lot of time for Bible study and prayer. So I am grateful for your warm Christian welcome on this forum.
Just last week, we opened a new school for Iraqi children, and I was proud to be selected to christen the school with a group prayer. I spoke about how the opening of the school was a victory for Christ, and the value of education in the crusade to make the world safe for democracy. There was a spattering of applause when I finished, the Iraqi children looked very happy as they ran into the school, and we congratulated each other as we drove back to the Embassy in our armored humvee.
What a great day it was. It is a terrible shame that the school was demolished by a truck bomb yesterday afternoon and 46 children inside were buried alive in rubble, but freedom and democracy comes in fits and starts. Nevertheless, I consider this great progresss because the 31 children that survived the blast learned a powerful lesson about democracy yesterday-- its price is dear, but its rewards are very sweet.... Eventually.
