What's your favorite John Hagee sermon? -
06-05-2008, 02:01 AM
My current favorite is this one, where he explains how God sent Hitler to punish Jews who live in Christian countries:
God tricked Florida Jews to elect Bush in 2000:
Here he talks about how AIDS is God's wraith:
Bush is the Messiah:
God hates intellectuals.
Billions will die soon! Glory!
God will kill non-Christians!
Cripples and single mothers should starve!
God hates gays:
America is a pagan society, harry potter is witchcraft.
Death is better than compromise. He agrees with us on the need for Christian suicide bombers.
God sends terrorists! Terrorists are doing God's work.
Disagree? By failing to register and debate me, you prove that liberals are factless frauds who only persuade through intimidation. To prove otherwise, debate me!

Glory! But how are we to choose a favorite with such an embarrasment of riches laid before us? Pastor Hagee's sermons are like an all-you-can-eat buffet for the soul. Of course, our own Pastor Deacon Fred pounds a pretty mean Bible, too, as proved in his 60 Second Sermons and Weekly Godcasts.
Pour out thy fury upon the heathen that know thee not, and upon the families that call not on thy name.... Jeremiah 10:25

I must say, I didn't see my favorite on the list. "John Hagee's NEXT sermon"!
So, I went with the one he will deliver at McCain's inauguration, after Little Black Osambo is trounced in the general election.
Bible boring? Nonsense!
Try Bible in a Year with Brother V, or join Shirlee and the kids as they discuss Real Bible Stories!
You can't be a Christian if you don't know God's Word!

Yes, we are to live by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God, but, like all food, it must be properly prepped. For example, the sermon "God Sends Terrorists" to punish U.S. for dividing Israel is based on Joel 3:2 " [...] and will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and [for] my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land." [KJV]
To one trying to 'eat' this unprepped, it may seem that it deals with OT times only, (the 'valley of Jehoshaphat' is less known to us moderns than it was to Joels' readers). One might think the use of "...whom they have scattered among the nations [...]" is talking about the final conquest of *ancient* Israel, c. 725-ish BC, and "[...] parted my land." refers to the break of the 10 tribes that kept the identification "Israel" from the 2 tribes that were thereafter called "Judea" back in Rehoboam's [sic] time. Luckily we have this brilliant, illustrious elucidator of the Eternal to make clear that yet another OT prophecy is actually pertinent for us, (although both parts of Davids' unified Kingdom have been scattered and the land parted a few times. The northern tribes, aka biblical ISRAEL, are still 'lost'; of course modern Israel is Jewish as was biblical Judea.
We need to be grateful for such revelation knowledge-type clarification. Now if someone could just help me understand how what the Pastor said ties in to the beginning of the verse: "I will also gather all nations, [....]"? How is this gathering relevant to what JH divinely declared, ie Bush's fairly solo efforts to divide the not-as-yet re-unified Israel?

WOW! Terrorists, ("All nations" in Joel), are Gods' way of pleading with U.S! We had scattered Israel and parted Gods' land before Joel wrote this some 2800 yrs ago! Now that's a looonnnggg reach!

Welcome, Nait (may i call you Nait?)
This is some fine biblical scholorship. I welcome you to contribute more!
God does indeed have a long reach. Newspaper astrology pages can only pridict what will happen over a day. Your average psychic can only predict a lifetime, yet the Bible predicted events happening today, thousands of years after it was written. Only God's glory can explain such a phenomenom. How else could iron-age Iraqi goat-herders be able to provide simple solutions to all problems of the 21st century with such decisiveness?

"Sent Hitler to punish Jews"?
Now wait just a minute! I thought you said the Holocaust never existed, but now you're saying it was sent by God...If it never existed, it could not have been sent by God (or started by Catholics, as another lie of yours says). Sorry!

Fudder Fartin,
If you could read as good as you can molest little boys, you would know that Brother Jeb said that Hitler punished the Jews, BUT he didn't say that Hitler started a Holocaust with them! No contradiction here you wretched papist!

I've changed my mind. My new favorite is "Cripples and single mothers should starve". Let me explain:
So it was a beautiful saturday and my wife and I went to a lovely restaurant at the yaught club. The place has windows that look out onto the lake, boats and a large group of ducks and geese who play and fight and chase boats for scraps. Birds of all types fly around. The level of activity at the port is like having a meal and a show.
We are dressed for success and interacting with other tourists. The day was perfect. But then something awful happened. The establishment has communal seating on the window tables so "everyone may enjoy the view". You can be seated with other parties without permission. My wife and I had a 8 seat table to ourselves and the lunch rush hit. I was shocked and almost choked my food when the waitress sat an obese woman and a very retarded boy at the table with us. I tried my best to look the other way and not stare. My husband and I finished what we could of our meal and paid and left as quickly as possible. Why would someone seat such folks with normal people?
Those people should not be allowed out in public. To avoid seeing them I had to turn my head head so far away from the two of them in such a painful way that any passing chiropractor would have given me his card.
I'm sick of retards and cripples. My kids shouldn't have to be in school with their kids, and my taxes shouldn't pay for their problems.
Well, maybe I was a bit harsh to say they should not be allowed out in public. They should have an hour or so to get some fresh air, but only in certain locations. Absolutely no place where anybody is eating.

I am no fan of this d*****bag, but he's a bigger man than anyone at LBC. At least he admits when he has got it wrong and issues an apology to those whom he has offended.
In Christ there is no East or West,
In Him no South or North;
But one great fellowship of love
Throughout the whole wide earth.

When we follow the Bible word for word. What mistake could we have possibly made??
1 John 2:18
Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.
Are you the antichrist trying to lead us away from our Lord?
Gather around so that I can read to you from my book of TRUTH. Genesis thru Revelations....Pick one!
Luke 12:5- But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.

My favorite John Hagee Sermon would be this. "Nergros, Mexicans & Single Mothers Should Not Be Allowed to Vote, So Sayeth The Lord.'
The angels in heaven would rejoice at this.
