You do seem to have a one track mind. We've already dealt with your "fun" obsession and shown the difference between it and joy. Another theme you like ignoring is the certainty of judgement. The Bible explains how these two are linked in ways the natural appetites cannot fathom, which is why God explained His perspective. You seem to like analogies, evoking one about firemen (which I thought was quite good) even though it missed the bullseye in another thread, and here I can respond in turn since you've raised an important question with another.

Try to understand my friend Jason has only been able to experience the love of Jesus (and me) for a short time. I have been patiently non judgmental in all the times I have been shoving this love into him. I know how he responds to my ministering. Sometimes gently, sometimes rough. Now and then I just want to tie him up and say, "Hey, man, you want this shoved down your throat, or will you take it willingly?"


As frustrating as it may be, he is opening himself to me and I know he will accept all we are offering him. Lots of my men's group have commented how well he responds to their Christian affection. He's really quite gentle when he's around gentle folk.

I've tried to be polite and keep well away from expressing opinions, after all, what we need to know is right there in The Bible and it's easy to include a reference. Also very encouraged that he (Jason Brickall) posts Scripture too. Sometimes a certain amount of context e.g. in the case of King Saul† who did actually say:

“thrust me through, and abuse me”

but there could be a Roman catholic reading‡ so I might include one of their texts:

“come and gloat over me”

which pretty much aligns with a priest's position I suppose; sometimes then context is so important if God's message is to be understood. I won't post the whole utterance—links below—and King Saul would not have attended a "Drag is Fun" event.

I'm a little concerned about that judge. God is absolutely clear on what clothing is acceptable. There is certainly a place for lively fabric: when witnessing at night for instance one needs to be visible but the "Drag is Fun" brigade grossly exceed the limits of mere visibility.

Prior to his conversion, Paul was troubled by pricks. Let's hope Montana's judge learns the difference between speech and clothing, otherwise can we be confident he knows the difference between traffic violations and wilful arson? For a heathen, God's opinion is of little interest. That changes neither what it is nor the consequences of disobedience. For any nation claiming to be Christian, on the other hand, knowledge is essential for compliance as Paul discovered when God revealed an enlightened understanding. Let us pray for this judge to experience many pricks and come to appreciate the reality of obedience to God.

Brother Major, is it just my feminine brain that confuses me when I read headlines that talk about "bans on enforcement restrictions"? I am often uncertain if the latest ruling from a judge stopping something is good or bad. It feels like reading a sentence with double, triple, or sometimes quadruple negatives.

Headlines need to be simpler. "Judge Rules in favor of Good Thing For Jesus" or "Judge Sides With Satan".

This country has become so sinful even Trump's Supreme Court seems to be going to the dark side.

Gov. Ron Desantis got a good anti-sin law passed in Florida. It prohibited drag performances wherever there were children. This, of course, would be libraries and other places where sin raises its head. One of those places is a Florida restaurant the caters to families and entertains with men dressed as women. This despicable restaurant sued the State of Florida, got what it wanted and put the law on hold. Now, the U.S. Supreme court is refusing to overrule this out-of-control Federal lower court judge. The restaurant can go right on with its mission of confusing children about the Biblical message, there are only two genders, male and female. Satan is rejoicing.

My friend Paul lives in Florida and performs as the Virgin Mary at each Christmas Gala. He keeps a baby Jesus in his briefs and pulls it out when the angels tell him to. He thinks he is honoring our Lord by doing so and no matter how many times I have paid admission to go see this Gala, I just don't envision it as honoring anything.

He does really do some great stuff with his makeup and clothes.

I don't recommend the link either, Sister Mitza. I included it because the location of this despicable homer sin is right here in the metro, a short distance from Landover Baptist.
