GOD bless the good people who took the time and money to start an urgent awareness campaign about pornography.
FIGHT THE NEW DRUG endeavors to educate the public about the rising threat of pornography, which can apparently affect your mind and body in ways not unlike LSD, meth, and ecstasy.
Please take a moment to regard this list of
CERTIFIED FACTS about the grave risk involved in the self-destructive act of touching oneself while observing what some may consider erotic images.
PORNOGRAPHY FEELS GOOD, SO IT IS DANGEROUS!
Pornography triggers the production of dangerous, addictive chemicals like dopamine and oxytocin inside your very own brain. Indeed pornography isn't a drug, and it isn't new, but both the internet and talk of all these hormones and chemicals in the brain are new to Christians, so it really is a "new drug."
According to the Google, dopamine is integral to the reward-driven learning experience, and oxytocin is associated with sexual pleasure, stimulation of the nipples, and pair-bonding, and countless other perversions.
Yes, just like drugs, music, video games, learning, making new friends and a long list of other dangerous things that should be avoided by True Christians, pornography makes you feel good!
LIST OF DANGEROUS SEXUAL ACTIVITIES THAT ARE CHEMICALLY ADDICTIVE:
- Masturbation with or without pornography
- Oral sex
- Anal sex
- Dry humping
- Being attracted to the same sex
- Fetishism
- Homosexual mutual masturbation
- Heterosexual mutual masturbation
- Kissing
LIST OF SAFE SEXUAL ACTIVITIES THAT ARE NOT ADDICTIVE AT ALL:
- Sex between a man and his wife married in the eyes of GOD for the sole purpose of reproduction
Once again, my father was proven correct when he told me "If it feels good, don't do it!"
Fortunately, GOD created our bodies so that from moment when the pastor says "I pronounce you man and wife," our brains will no longer respond positively to sex or stimulation.
PORNOGRAPHY WILL RUIN YOUR ENTIRE LIFE!
It's true.
FIGHT THE NEW DRUG states on their website that
"pornography use increases the marital infidelity rate by more than 300 percent."
Unfortunately, the rock-solid research that supports this statement was accidentally excluded from the list of sources at the bottom of the page.
But, by browsing the sources list I learned the amount of revenue the porn business generates annually, how often male college students look up porn online, and other relevant and important information provided by sources such as The Family Research Council, the Christian Broadcasting Network, and the Baptist Press!
FIGHT THE NEW DRUG states on their website that
"Pornography is directly related to negative perceptions, attitudes, and aggression towards the opposite sex."
This is entirely true, I tested it myself.
I looked up the first erotic image I could find in the JC Penney catalog that was sitting next to the computer, and then I asked myself, "Do I really love my wife?
Really?"
And as I stared at the curvy female model I felt absolutely nothing whatsoever, thank JESUS, but I really began to hate and resent my wife, and I felt as though my whole life was a lie and that I never will be fulfilled or true to myself.
Just then, the power of JESUS came over me and I threw the catalog in the trash can before the image had a chance to destroy my marriage.
PORNOGRAPHY WILL MAKE YOU SAD AND LONELY
If you thought that people were porn-heads because they're sad and lonely, think again!
It turns out that they were all healthy, normal people until they became compulsive masturbators who now spend every waking moment in a dark room illuminated only by the glow of a computer screen displaying unspeakable images.
FIGHT THE NEW DRUG states on their website that
"Twice as many people who use internet pornography are reported to have severe clinical depression compared to non-users."
I am not so sure about this. I thought the only cause of depression was to not have JESUS in your life, but I suppose this is basically the same thing.
Either way, remember that this basically proves beyond any doubt the causal link between porn and major depression.
SIGN THE PLEDGE TODAY!
If you would like to help resist the slick lure of porn, put your name (and the names of your friends and family) on
THIS pledge!
Quote:
Now is the time for me to stand and help others overcome that which has effected [sic] my family, my friends and my community.
I will avoid exposure to this powerful drug, called pornography. I will be a source of strength to those who need support and accept help when I am in need.
I will be a voice of reason among the clatter of self serving opinion. Too many have suffered. Too many have sacrificed. I must be open about a topic no one wants to discuss.

Now, True Christians may be alarmed when they continue reading the pledge, and notice that one of the pledges required of us to take is one that reads:
"I know judging others [sic] actions is not my place."
I assure you this is merely part of their public policy not to appear overtly Christian.* You can take comfort knowing that FIGHT THE NEW DRUG abides by CHRIST's commands for us to judge others RIGHT HERE.
"A lonely, addicted person sitting in front of a computer is not sexy."
Praise JESUS.

Please note: FIGHT THE NEW DRUG is trying to be low-key about the religion thing in order to drum up support for their cause without dividing people, so please respect their efforts to remain covert and do not tell a lot of people that they are using Christian publications, Christian organizations, and Christian media for their sources.
